Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is among several titles in the franchise to feature the Zombies game mode, and like the others, it has its own features - one of which may have played a role in this bug.
Call of Duty Zombies is a game mode that goes back to Call of Duty: World at War and has been expanded upon since. When Black Ops 3 was released in 2015, it introduced the Call of Duty: Zombies Gobblegum system that allows players to get certain benefits if they have the appropriate amount of points. These perks provide a range of boosts to a Call of Duty Zombies player's stats, and one may have caused this Black Ops 3 fan to get a big influx of the resource.
Reddit user Kool_Aid_Turtle recently shared a screenshot that highlights the results of their Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombies gameplay and a ridiculously large Liquid Divinium reward. According to Kool_Aid_Turtle, the bug may have happened as a result of a questionable connection, as they explained exactly what happened to get them 95,006 Black Ops 3 Divinium. The Call of Duty Zombies player was cleaning a tablet in the Black Ops 3 Origins map when they encountered the animation for receiving Divinium repeatedly, which seemingly resulted in the massive increase.
Beyond the Call of Duty connection issue noted by Kool_Aid_Turtle, who still plays Black Ops 3 to this day, the Zombies fan also attributed the bug to a potentially haywire perk machine. Kool_Aid_Turtle has elaborated that the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombies glitch happened in a public match, showing that there are some problems with the game despite how many years it has been out. The Call of Duty Zombies player spent "literally 20 minutes" spending the Divinium to get 2 Perkaholic Gobblegums, showing just how big of a reward this was.
Due to this beneficial Liquid Divinium bug, Kool_Aid_Turtle's reward for this Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombies match ensures they will never need Divinium again. However, because Kool_Aid_Turtle has stated that this is the only Call of Duty Zombies bug they've encountered - and given their connection issue - it may be difficult to replicate for players trying to acquire easy Divinium.
