A gamer has found a brand-new way to cheese one of the best maps in Call of Duty Zombies. The popularity of the mode means that players are always looking for different ways to cheese Call of Duty Zombies maps, and this new method is definitely simpler than most.

It has been fifteen years since the Zombies mode first appeared as a surprise in Call of Duty: World at War, and gamers are still discovering plenty of new details from every new map released over the years. One fan even found a new way to destroy Ascension's rocket in Call of Duty Zombies, which seemed to surprise everyone despite the age of the map. It just goes to show the level of detail that Treyarch has placed in these maps - it's impossible to know when every trick and secret has been discovered, as there always seems to be something new being found by the dedicated community.

The Redditor Trilasent posted a clip of the glitch, which takes place on the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 version of Origins. While being chased by the zombies, the player positions themselves over a drop just right, and the zombies simply stop chasing. This seems to be completely game-breaking, as it stops the zombie's only way of attacking the player. There is the issue of ammo for the player, which could stop this from being massively effective at higher rounds. There are plenty of interesting bugs being found recently, with one Call of Duty Zombies player being rewarded for dying in another odd glitch.

Others in the thread voiced their concern about the long-term viability of this particular Call of Duty Zombies bug. The main concern was that at the start of every round, the zombies could simply refuse to move toward the player, which would stop this glitch in its tracks immediately. Others were uncertain that it would still work if there were more zombies coming from other directions, even if it's still useful to see out the end of a round. The player didn't answer any further questions about the glitch, so it's uncertain how truly viable this glitch actually is.

It's great to see that Call of Duty Zombies remains active to this day. The mode has become a staple of Treyarch's Call of Duty games, and while Sledgehammer Games has attempted its own versions, it has never lived up to the same high standards. With Call of Duty 2023 rumored to be a continuation of the Modern Warfare series, it will likely be 2024 until players next get a new iteration of Zombies to play and enjoy.
