With the staggering amount of weapon attachments available for every weapon in Call Of Duty Warzone, it's understandable to feel a bit overwhelmed. These two attachments say they do the same thing! Which is better? Is it worth swapping this for that, or that for this?

Never fear! For this handy list, we'll be taking a look at 10 of the absolute best weapon attachments available for the SMG weapon class. Some of these are only viable for a certain situation/playstyle, but others are going to be good choices no matter who you are.

10 EXTENDED MAGS

Extended Mags are, to put it lightly, spectacular. One of the problems with SMGs is that they eat through ammo at a quite-frankly-alarming rate, and it can be easy to find yourself reloading in between kills. This isn't always viable in a situation where you happen to be outnumbered, so... what to do?

Slap on an Extended Mag, that's what. It doesn't really matter which one, just choose whichever you feel is providing you enough ammo to make up for the extra weight it's adding to your weapon. The MP7, for instance, can equip a 60-Round Mag, and it's a beautiful thing.

9 MONOLITHIC SUPPRESSOR

Being a familiar face in just about every "Best Weapon Attachment list," the Monolithic Suppressor is an incredible thing and there's really not much reason to use anything else.

The Monolithic Suppressor dampens the sound of your weapon firing, keeping you off the radar, and increases the damage range of your weapon at the same time. This can make a really big difference on an SMG which doesn't have an overabundance of range from the get-go, and all this at the low-low price of slightly worse ADS (aim down sights) speed and aim walking steadiness? It's worth it.

8 COMMANDO FOREGRIP

Another great addition to just about any SMG in Warzone, the Commando Foregrip is one of the first things you're going to unlock for your weapon and one of the last things you'll want to take off of it. It provides a bonus in recoil stabilization and aiming stability, for the cost of a tiny little bit of movement speed. If that seems worth it to you, well, it's because it is. It's a great weapon attachment.

7 FSS RECON

The FSS RECON isn't available for every SMG, but it is at least available for the MP7. While the MP7 isn't necessarily the absolute best SMG out there, it's definitely up there, so this weapon attachment makes it onto the list. The FSS RECON adds some extra damage range, bullet velocity, and recoil control, at the cost of some ADS speed and movement speed.

As mentioned before, increasing your SMGs damage range is only ever a really good thing, and bettering the bullet velocity and recoil control is the icing on the cake.

6 NO STOCK

Only for those that prefer the most aggressive, strike-fear-in-your-enemies approach, taking the stock entirely off of your weapon increases your movement speed and ADS speed, at the cost of some aiming stability and recoil control. If you're utilizing this kind of playstyle, chances are you're going to be close enough to your enemy that the extra weapon control isn't going to be an issue, so the tradeoff here is more then worth it, in the right situation.

5 10MM AUTO 30-ROUND MAGS

Available only for the MP5, the 10MM Auto 30-Round Mags increases the damage and range of the weapon, while decreasing both the fire rate and the recoil control. While it's definitely not ideal to run around with a weapon that only has 30 rounds in the magazine, the payoff of the extra damage and range here is worth it, provided you aren't trying to fight an entire team at the same time.

4 MERC FOREGRIP

The second grip on this list, the Merc Foregrip increases both the recoil control and hip-fire accuracy of your weapon, at the cost of aim walking movement speed and ADS speed. Many who play with SMGs find themselves in close enough range that hip-firing is perfectly viable, and if you're one of those people, the Merc Foregrip is probably the choice for you.

3 5MW LASER

Another one for the hip-fire-folks, the 5MW laser is going to, well, turn your weapon into, well, a hip firing laser. While this laser does give you away since it's visible to enemies, those who play with this playstyle probably aren't going to really care if an enemy knows about them or not.

It's worth mentioning that, on top of increasing your hip-fire accuracy, this also increases your sprint-t0-fire speed; so in those times where an enemy comes out of nowhere and you have to get your weapon ready quickly, you still stand a chance.

2 STIPPLED GRIP TAPE

The Stippled Grip Tape is honestly, a great choice for a player of just about any playstyle. It both increases your ADS speed and your sprint-t0-fire speed, basically just making your weapon snappier and more pleasant to use in just about any situation. This is a nice quality-of-life attachment, and if you find yourself with a free attachment slot, this is definitely worth a look.

1 SLEIGHT OF HAND

Lastly, Sleight Of Hand is a nice perk that comes with no drawbacks, besides the fact that it takes up an attachment slot. Sleight Of Hand increases your weapons reload speed. SMGs generally reload pretty quickly anyway, but because of the proximity in which a lot of SMG fights are going to be fought, every millisecond counts.
