Since the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, players have been eagerly awaiting any details pertaining to the battle royale mode. Finally, after a long wait, the new battle royale known as Warzone will release tomorrow as a standalone mode with a new contract system.

The contract system in Warzone will work similarly to other Call of Duty games that involve contracts, where the player will earn a reward for completing relatively simple tasks. However, this time around in Call of Duty: Warzone, contracts will work a bit differently, as the rewards they provide can be a gamechanger.

In order to begin contracts, a player must find them scattered throughout the new Warzone map randomly. The player will be able to find a tablet that will contain an order to fulfill the contract requirements. The task of the contract will always vary and the rewards for completing a contract will also vary. Some contracts can reward bonus XP or weapon XP, extra Warzone cash, or show the player a preview of where the next circle will be.

According to Infinity Ward, there will also be a contract that will allow players to see where the final circle will end up within the first ten minutes of a match. Additionally, there will be another type of contract called bounties. Picking up a bounty will randomly select an enemy and reveal their general location to the player. Killing the player with the bounty on them will grant rewards similar to contracts.

When on the opposite end of a bounty, the player will be notified that there is an active bounty on their head. This effect also applies to squad play in which the entire team will be notified if even one of their members has a currently active bounty on them. This can prove to be a great feature as it will incentivize team play in squads and the player with the bounty could be used as bait for a sneaky ambush or other crazier and funnier plays.

With the use of contracts, players can have the upper hand when facing off against enemies if they are able to efficiently find and execute these contracts. Hopefully, by completing contracts and earning rewards, weapon perks can be added to weapons in Warzone in order to earn cool victories with things such as Akimbo pistols.

Call of Duty: Warzone launches March 10 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
