There is, quite frankly, a ludicrous amount of attachment options for each weapon in Call of Duty Warzone, and it's understandable to be overwhelmed. A lot of the attachments are going to make minute differences, but others could create a drastic change, and unless you're dedicated to really diving in and feeling it out for yourself, it's possible to not really know exactly what attachments to slap onto your weapon.

For this list we'll be taking a look at Assault Rifle attachments, specifically. These are some of the best attachments available, and while each attachment isn't available on every weapon in this category, it's safe to say that if it is available for your weapon, it's worth giving it a try.

10 MONOLITHIC SUPPRESSOR

Hands down, one of the most useful weapon attachments for just about any weapon in all of Warzone is the Monolithic Suppressor. This increases damage range and suppresses the sound of your weapon, at the cost of some ADS (aim down sights) speed and aim walking steadiness. This is a perfectly fine tradeoff in almost every situation; the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks, in this case.

9 COMMANDO FOREGRIP

The Commando Foregrip is another prolifically powerful weapon attachment; this helps both recoil stabilization and aiming stability at the cost of a little bit of movement speed. This extra control is going to make a world of difference in a lot of cases, and that small tradeoff in movement speed isn't really going to come into play all too often. Plus, this attachment unlocks super early in almost (if not every) single Assault Rifles progression.

8 EXTENDED MAGS

This can vary from weapon-to-weapon; some weapons, like the Kilo, have access to 100-round Drum Mags. These are incredible. Some other weapons can't increase their magazine count by too much.

Regardless, for Warzone, you're going to want that extra ammo count, so grab whatever Extended Mag you can and rock with it, because it's going to drastically improve your quality (and length) of life.

7 STIPPLED GRIP TAPE

The Stippled Grip Tape is a perk that, at the end of the day, is just going to make your weapon more enjoyable to use. It improves the weapon's ADS speed and the sprint-to-fire speed, meaning your weapon is basically going to feel snappier. For more mobile players who play up-close-and-maybe-too-personal, this is going to help you come out of a few gunfights alive when you probably shouldn't; the small decrease in aiming stability is worth it.

6 STOCK M16 GRENADIER

While it's not available for every weapon in the class, it's very worth using for those that it does happen to be available for. The Stock M16 Grenadier greatly increases the damage range of the weapon, and also increases the bullet velocity and the recoil control. It's worth noting that it does decrease your movement speed by a bit, and makes the ADS speed slightly worse, but in a lot of cases, this tradeoff is going to absolutely be worth it.

5 VLK 3.0x OPTIC

While this scope isn't variable like many of the typically recommended ones, at 3.0x magnification it stays flexible. That zoom can definitely be helpful in some of the medium-longer range fights you're going to be using an Assault Rifle in, without being way too high-zoom for closer range fights. It also means you don't have to take that extra second to flip back and forth between high and low zoom; you can stay focused and engaged with what you need to be engaged with.

4 NO STOCK

Only recommended for those who are playing the fast-paced, maybe-a-little-bit-insane playstyle, removing your stock entirely is going to make your weapon less stable with both aiming and recoil, but it is going to greatly increase your movement and ADS speed. This means you can jump around corners playing like the person every enemy hates to your heart's content without worrying about being slower than the person on the other side.

3 BIPOD

Only recommended for those who plan on using their weapon in a lot of stationary, ambush-y style fights, the Bipod greatly increases the stability of your weapon when crouched or prone.

It forces you to forego any other kind of underbarrel, so you'll have to be sure of your playstyle ahead of time, but in those situations where you plan on playing the more defensive kind of game, the Bipod can actually be pretty nice to have equipped.

2 COLOSSUS SUPPRESSOR

When available, the Colossus Suppressor, apart from basically doubling the length of your weapon and looking super-cool, is actually super useful, too. Similarly to the Monolithic Suppressor, this increases your damage range and dampens the sound of your weapon firing, but it also gives you some extra recoil control, too. This does come at the cost of ADS speed and aim walking steadiness, but as long as you aren't planning on a fast-paced, in-your-face playstyle, it's a worthy tradeoff.

1 SLEIGHT OF HAND

This weapon perk is incredibly popular because, simply put, it's incredibly good. If you've ever found yourself in that situation where if you would've won the gunfight if you just could've reloaded your gun half-a-second quicker, (so basically everybody that's ever played Warzone), then this is the perk for you. There are no cons associated with this either, other than the fact that it forces you to forego another weapon attachment.
