Call of Duty Mobile season 13 is almost here, and with it there will be a plethora of changes and additions made to the game. Though most of what it includes won't be known until it finally releases, fans have been given a sneak peak at one major change coming to the battle royale map. Aside from season 13 adding new weapons, a new point of interest has been teased, showcasing the snowy landscape of a ski lodge and resort.

Players that keep up with Call of Duty Mobile will be familiar with these seasonal updates that often add new content to the game, but changes to its battle royale map don't happen all too often. This new point of interest is sure to provide interesting and varied opportunities for players to do battle with each other.

Even better, this seasonal update will arrive just in time for the holidays, as it is expected to drop on December 22nd. There are sure to be other holiday themed additions to the game's other modes as well, but at the very least players can look forward to duking it out in a winter wonderland on the game's battle royale map. Call of Duty Mobile is still very popular, so there'll be no shortage of players to battle.

Though some players were speculating that the above tweet might indicate the return of Downhill, a DLC map from Black Ops 2, the official Twitter account for Call of Duty Mobile denied this and confirmed that it is in fact an extension to the current battle royale map. Finally, other players inquire about whether this new area will be available on test servers before the official launch, but there's been no word about that just yet.

Call of Duty Mobile is available now on Mobile.
