The next content drop for Call of Duty: Mobile is live, and with it comes tons of new rewards. The Hunt for Makarov is on in Season 10 of Call of Duty: Mobile.

Vladimir Makarov is a well-known Call of Duty villain, first appearing in Modern Warfare 2, which was recently remastered. In the new event in Season 10, players are tasked with hunting down Makarov by acquiring explore points COD: Mobile. The hunt has begun, and it will end on October 1st.

The official Call of Duty: Mobile Twitter page released a video showing off gameplay of Season 10, as well as the rewards that players can earn. Fans will earn explore points by simply playing standard multiplier and battle royale in COD: Mobile, which may be getting a night map sometime in the near future.

There are twelve different stages of unlocks in the new event, each of which are progressed through with the exploration points. The more that fans play the game, the more they will earn the points and progress through the stages. Each stage will reward the player with content, like the Striker Forest Felt skin for example. Once all stages are completed, players can then access the Makarov's First Horseman Frame.

The word "exploration points" is a bit interesting, as it implies that players need to go searching for items as a part of some sort of challenge. But no, players instead simply play the game, fragging it out on new COD: Mobile maps like Pine from Modern Warfare, to acquire the points. The rewards are a combination of skins, calling cards, and more.

Call of Duty: Mobile has seen decent success since its launch in October of 2019. With its mix of varied modes, like multiplayer and battle royale (but not Zombies, as it was removed from COD: Mobile), it provides entertainment for those who are on the go or don't have games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Obtaining free rewards for simply playing the game is nice.

One interesting note is that there are rumors that Call of Duty: Warzone is coming to mobile. So it will be intriguing to see if there is space for both Call of Duty: Mobile and Warzone on mobile, or if even perhaps the Warzone experience replaces the native battle royale that is in COD: Mobile.

Call of Duty Mobile is available now for iOS and Android mobile devices.
