Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War recently revealed that players will, for the first time in Call of Duty history, be able to create their own operator for the campaign. Although the extent of the character creation is unknown, Black Ops Cold War fans are already crafting their own operator personas in preparation for the upcoming game.

While most personas are simply text blocks of players describing the characters, some fans have taken this concept to the next level. After some trial and error, this Call of Duty fan has created their own official dossier for their custom operator Captain Preston Miller, AKA Strider.

Reddit user RainbowSix_Glaz has designed its own operator dossier and put it into a professional-looking form. Like a resume for soldiers, this dossier gives a good look into their lives, skills, family, and deployment history. Interestingly, the author decided to base their operator from the Navy Seals, giving them a very unique skill-based for battlefield deployment. It is unknown if Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will ask for anywhere near as much information as this fan provided, but it is still cool to see the excitement of fans manifest as entire character designs.

Those who have served in the military and actually seen dossiers similar to this have noticed that there are some errors in their form. As one fan noticed, the character is ranked at Captain, making him an O-6 in military terms. This would make him equal to a Colonel in the Army and Marine corps, proving that he could not be a Captain as of yet. For a more authentic version fans in the comments advise changing the rank or service branch, at the very least.

From reading through the dossier, fans can tell that this player has been a member of the Call of Duty community for some time. Mentions to the Armistice and Coalition create a sense of realism around this character when put in context of the overall Call of Duty timeline.

Although the operator's gear is more modern then would be used in the 1980s, this is still an impressive fan creation. Unlike creating a bottle of Warzone hot sauce, this fan project connects directly into the upcoming title and shows a strange level of preparation that may become useful in the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War character generation process.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is set to release on November 13th for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
