The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War community has seen the lesser end of the franchise's hacker issues. While cheats are still present, most of them receive quick fixes or are reported by the game's community. However, one new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War cheat was caught on camera and offers an unfair advantage on the battlefield.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War cheats have been spotted in a variety of different game modes since the game's launch, with each having a distinct impact. While aimbots are relatively common among these cheats, wallhacks and ghost aim hacks also appear frequently enough to cause trouble. This recently spotted cheat, however, has less to do with aiming and more to do with the options a player has in battle.

The newest Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War cheats to be noticed was captured on video by Reddit fan MacTavishesBanana. In the clip, the player is spectating the cheater who is showing off to his teammates. The cheating player can be seen swapping from their primary weapon to dual pistols, a rocket launcher, the nail gun, and then a baseball bat. In total, the player is able to wield five weapons in one loadout, which goes against the game's standard of primary and secondary options.

In addition to the additional weapons, the player's character model is seen moving quicker than is normally allowed in the game. It is obvious to many fans that he has a movement cheat active as well and is not shy about showcasing it with a spectator and other players around. The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War cheater was reported by the fan, but that does not change the severity of the cheat program.

Some fans in the comments argue that there is a common glitch that allows players to wield several weapons. However, this does not answer for how the player is moving faster than normal and how boastfully they are swapping without any noticeable exploit actions. These facts combined have caused many to believe that a cheat program is in play and that the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War developers have another hack to deal with.

Cheating in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is a bannable offense, and the developers are actively enforcing their zero-tolerance policy. If this cheat or a similar problem is noticed, fans are advised to report it immediately so that the issue can be investigated by the developers. While this may not be an aimbot, holding extra weapons and super speed can both be very harmful to the game's inherent balance.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
