In the eastern part of the map, players can locate the tranquil Hateno Village. Located in this town is the Bolson Construction company, and they can build Link's house with interesting discoveries. After accepting the Hylian Homeowner quest, gather 30 wood and 3,000 Rupees to buy the abode. After this, one of the employees, Hudson, will move on to construct a new town in the Akkala region.

Of the most breathtaking locations in the game, aspiring builders will need to head to Lake Akkala. Formed by a land bridge, cross over and find Hudson to begin From the Ground Up. He is planning on building a village known as Tarrey Town, and it requires both wood and citizens to live it in. That said, Hudson will only accept villagers with the suffix, son, in their name.

To make this quest a bit easier, players should head out to start gathering the necessary wood. Overall, Link will require 110 wood bundles to complete this mission. Faron Woods or the Great Plateau are great places to start, and the latter has the Woodcutter's House which typically spawns an axe. Consider using remote bombs to cut trees as a way to bypass weapon durability in Breath of the Wild.

With this collection, head back to Hudson to deliver the first chunk of wood and continue the quest. The first villager is a Goron, Greyson, who players can find in the Southern Mine of the Eldin Region. After recruiting a citizen, Link must travel back to Hudson to pass off more wood and move the questline forward. After this, find Rhondson in Kara Kara Bazaar in the Gerudo Wasteland and offer an invitation.

There are two more main villagers to find: a Rito and a Zora. The first is Fryson in Rito Village of the Tabantha Region, and the second is Kapson from Zora's Domain in Breath of the Wild. With all the townsfolk gathered, Hudson has one final request. Go back to Hateno Village to tell Bolson and Karson to come to Tarrey Town. Return to the new village and watch Hudson's wedding to complete From the Ground Up and earn three diamonds.
