Another crossover is coming to Brawlhalla, a free-to-play platformer fighting game that has already seen a wide number of collaborations. The Super Smash Bros.-like fighter has a rather dedicated fanbase, complete with a thriving community that holds tournaments, with a chance to earn some pretty big prizes. The Brawlhalla roster boasts over 50+ characters with some incredibly diverse movesets, some of them being some recognizable gaming icons. The latest crossover will be adding some characters from Capcom's iconic fighting game franchise, Street Fighter.

As mentioned before, Brawlhalla is no stranger to crossovers with a variety of intellectual properties. Some of the most recent additions to Brawlhalla include characters from AMC's The Walking Dead, Dreamworks' Kung-Fu Panda franchise, and even Ben 10. With matchups like The Walking Dead's Rick Grimes and Negan taking on Rayman and Kung Fu Panda's Po, the sky is the limit to what character is added next.

The newest trailer is done in a cartoonish-anime style, with Brawlhalla's Petra seeing a new challenger approach in the opening shot. Her opponent is the wandering warrior, Ryu, rendered in a similar style. His gameplay shows off some of his signature moves from Street Fighter adapted to Brawlhalla, including the rising uppercut Shoryuken, the spinning Tatsumaki Senpukyaku kick, and even the Hadouken.

The second character shown off is Chun-Li, comes complete with her signature Spinning Bird Kick and Kikoken projectiles. She also appears to be wielding a staff in Brawlhalla as well. The final character added through this collaboration is Street Fighter's villainous Akuma. His moveset includes using the Satsui No Hado to pull off some dark techniques, like the Metsu Hadoken and Tatsumaki Senpukyaku. He even retains his iconic Raging Demon attack in this game as well.

The Street Fighter crossover in Brawlhalla also includes "Street Brawl," a brand-new game mode. This takes Brawlhalla away from its Super Smash Bros.-inspired platformer trappings to more of Street Fighter's traditional 2D gameplay. This includes two health bars at the top of the screen and a certain amount of victories needing to be earned in order to completely win the match. A brand-new stage based on the Suzaku Castle arena from Street Fighter will also be added to the game through this collaboration and will be available to play starting November 22.

Brawlhalla is available on Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
