These two individuals are going to be incredibly important moving forward, as expected of the two main characters. However, there are other characters in Boruto from the main cast who are now receiving their fair share of attention. These characters are ones that were somewhat neglected in the first part of the series and are now receiving the shine that they deserve, such as Mitsuki. In the recent Boruto chapter, fams even got to witness Mitsuki's Sage Mode, which is nothing short of amazing.

Boruto Uzumaki's Team 7 Reunion

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 6 was massive for the fans in many ways. In the previous chapter, fans got to see Boruto Uzumaki return to Konoha in order to reunite with the likes of Sarada and Sumire. In this chapter, fans finally got to see this reunion play out and it was certainly very interesting. The vast majority of the focus when it comes to this particular conversation between them was on the 10 Tails and the strange phenomena that are currently taking place in the ninja world. With the power of the Claw Marks, the 10 Tails has evolved into Shinju and is now threatening the fate of the entire world. As was made clear in the series earlier, the Claw Grimes are attacking any moving source of chakra and turning them into a tree.

Their chakra is then drained and this gives rise to the Shinju, four of which were already seen in the story and they appear to be super powerful. In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 6, Boruto explained the functioning of these Shinju to Sarada and, of course, Sumire as well. While this reunion was going very well, there were other characters who ended up arriving on the scene and causing chaos. This person in particular was none other than Mitsuki. Originally, Mitsuki was seen with Kawaki, however, as soon as he detected the presence of Boruto Uzumaki, he decided to attack him using his snakes.

Mitsuki's Attack On Boruto

In what turned out to be a very surprising turn of events, Mitsuki first used his snakes to knock out Kawaki in the chapter. This just goes to show the level that Mitsuki has trained himself to. Using the toxins in his snake, Mitsuki was able to knock out Kawaki by biting his neck. As soon as Kawaki passed out, Mitsuki decided to track Boruto Uzumaki down with the power of his Sage Mode. Mitsuki attacked Boruto with his snake powers and this was rather unexpected, simply because fans did not expect a confrontation between these two characters to happen so soon in the story. Regardless, one can see why Mitsuki is absolutely infuriated with Boruto. In his mind, Boruto is everything that he hates. To him, whatever Kawaki has done has actually been carried out by none other than Boruto.

Boruto: Konohamaru's Major Fight Confirmed

Konohamaru will face his strongest opponent to date in Boruto part 2.

Mitsuki believes that Boruto was the one who killed the Seventh Hokage and the one who tried to murder Kawaki. To him, Kawaki, being the son of Naruto Uzumaki, is his world and that is precisely why he is infuriated. Mitsuki decided to attack Boruto and could have killed him in an instant had Boruto not had access to the Flying Thunder God Jutsu. Thankfully for Boruto, this technique came in handy and it allowed him to evade this powerful strike. Of course, Mitsuki did not stop there and continued to attack with more ferocity and showcased to fans what level he had hit during the timeskip.

Mitsuki's Sage Mode Powers

Mitsuki utilized the powers of his Sage Mode in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 6 to the fullest. Fans were desperately waiting for Mitsuki to tap into the true potential of his powers over the years, and now, this finally happened in the manga. Mitsuki's horned sage transformation saw him fight against Boruto on an equal footing.

He even knocked out Kawaki at the beginning of the chapter, and within an instant, he got to where Boruto was, which signifies the level of speed that he possesses. If that wasn't enough, Mitsuki then went on to showcase his incredible arsenal of attacks. He used his snake to strangle Boruto and tried to kill him, however, Boruto evaded this attack. Later, he used multiple hidden snakes from underneath to attack Boruto. This attack was countered by Boruto using his sword and his usage of lightning release.

From there onwards, Boruto decided to escape using the powers of his Otsutsuki being. He has mastered the ability of flight and he could easily escape from the village and go far enough. He did just that in the chapter, however, fans were absolutely shocked to see that Mitsuki did not let go and continued in pursuit of him.

Mitsuki Vs Boruto Begins

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex saw Boruto Uzumaki escape from the village towards the very end while conversing with Shikamaru. It appears that Shikamaru has drawn a connection between the hazy memories that he possesses and the truth of the events that happened during Omnipotence. Shikamaru is now one of the very few individuals who knows the truth about Boruto Uzumaki. Regardless, this only happened when Boruto used the power of flight to escape from the village. Much to his surprise, Mitsuki was actually keeping up with him despite not having the ability of flight. Mitsuki managed that quite easily and this was down to his incredible Sage Mode powers.

Given that he has been training relentlessly for 3 years, Mitsuki has now strengthened to an incredible level. It appears that Boruto Uzumaki and Mitsuki will end up fighting properly in the upcoming chapter of the series and that is something that fans are incredibly excited for.

This also appears to be a setup for Mitsuki to find out the truth about Boruto. It appears that every member of Team 7 now knows who Boruto truly is, except for Mitsuki. Now, he is going to be fighting against Boruto, and perhaps, at the end of this fight, he could very well realize the truth about Kawaki and Boruto too. This could end up being the turning point in Konoha, where Kawaki's secret appears to me on the line already.

Things are already heating up in Boruto and fans are incredibly excited for the next chapter of the series. While a proper glimpse of Mitsuki's sage mode was given in this chapter, fans would likely see what exactly it is capable of at its full potential in the upcoming one. Furthermore, fans will also get to see Boruto Uzumaki in a proper fight for the first time, and once again, that is another interesting aspect of the chapter to be excited about.
