This is a question that has been bugging all the fans for quite a while now. Of course, fans already know from the Naruto days that Tailed Beasts do not really die. Even if the user is killed or the Tailed Beast is beaten, they simply assimilate again and return after a while. However, the way in which Kurama died was different. Kurama's death happened because the entirety of it was used as a raw material to create a new form of power. Essentially, he was completely erased. For it to return from an unnatural death doesn't make much sense.
