What To Expect From Boruto Timeskip

The timeskip of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is going to be extremely interesting. While most of it is going to be skipped over, as is expected of a timeskip, the results are surely going to be covered in the manga. As fans saw in the previous chapter, Boruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha are all set to leave the village in an attempt to grow stronger. They are doing this to fulfill their goals. For Boruto Uzumaki, the goal is to prove that he is going to change his destiny by himself and, in doing so, get his brother on the right path. For Sasuke Uchiha, the goal is going to be to protect the village, as well as rescue his best friend, the 7th Hokage Naruto Uzumaki.

Both of them are going to be away from the village for what appears to be a period of 4 years. In 4 years, Boruto is going to learn a lot under Sasuke and that is something that excites the fans quite a lot. Fans will see him return as a new man, having grown much older, much stronger, and more mature. At the same time, fans will also be treated to a completely new design for Boruto Uzumaki and, perhaps, even Sasuke Uchiha, and that is certainly something to look forward to.

Konoha During The Timeskip

While Boruto and Sasuke will be away from Konoha during the timeskip, the village is going to undergo some changes for sure. For one, Boruto's teammates, as well as all the other Shinobi of the next generation are going to be training as well. Protecting the village falls on them now and, as such, they are going to be training hard to step up to the next level and save Konoha. Sarada Uchiha, Sasuke's daughter, is going to be one of the most important characters within Konoha, now that Boruto is gone. She was recently seen awakening the Mangekyo Sharingan, and during the timeskip, she is likely going to gain control over this eye permanently.

4 years is quite a long time for Sarada to master her abilities, and although Sasuke would have been the perfect mentor for her, given that he possesses the same eyes, Sarada will have to do this on her own, which would make her even more impressive. Meanwhile, characters such as Mitsuki and Kawaki will also be training on the side. How exactly Mitsuki will progress from here onwards is not known just yet, however, it is likely going to be something to do with his Sage Mode powers. Meanwhile, Kawaki still has not attained perfect control over Isshiki's powers and he will likely try to get to the same level as him during the timeskip.

Code During The Timeskip

While the protagonists of the story are going to be working hard during the timeskip, the villains are going to do the same. Code is the biggest villain in Boruto at the moment and he is looking to gain enough power to destroy all those who wronged him and took part in the death of Isshiki Otsutsuki. Code is going to be looking for strength as well and, to attain this, he's likely going to travel from planet to planet looking for chakra fruits just as the Otsutsuki do. When fans see Code next, he is going to be a changed man, with a completely different design as well as new powers up his sleeve.

Code is the ultimate villain of Boruto and in order to be a significant threat moving on, he needs to step his game up. His ultimate goal is to be similar to Shibai Otsutsuki and inherit the will of the Otsutsuki. Whether he will be able to do that or not remains to be seen, however, as soon as the timeskip is done, he's going to be a threat for Konoha to deal with. Furthermore, Code would need some allies on his side. At the moment, he is alone and, even though he's tremendously strong, he can't do everything on his own. As such, the timeskip of Boruto could see him amass some allies in order to make his version of Kara more intimidating.
