Kawaki is one of the main characters in the sequel of Naruto, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. He is a character who was first teased in the prologue of the series and went on to make an appearance later on in the story. An incredibly powerful character, he is deemed to be powerful enough to be the vessel of Isshiki Otsutsuki.
Along with Boruto Uzumaki, Kawaki is one of the most important characters in the story at the moment. Thanks to the powers that he has received so far, he's also one of the strongest. Kawaki is a future antagonist of the story and, he has quite a few tricks up his sleeve.
8 Sukunahikona
Sukunahikona was first demonstrated by none other than Isshiki in the story. This power is classified as Shinjutsu and it allows the user to instantly shrink themselves to microscopic sizes. The power can also be extended to non-living things around the user, however, it cannot be extended to other living things.
This is an incredible ability the powers of which have proven to be a headache for even the likes of Naruto and Sasuke. Since Kawaki is the vessel for the powers of Isshiki, he possesses the ability to utilize Sukunahikona.
7 Daikokuten
Daikokuten is another overpowered ability used by none other than Isshiki Otsutsuki. He first demonstrated this ability during his fight against Naruto and Sasuke.
Just like Sukunahikona, this ability is classified as Shinjutsu. Using this power, he can freely store and summon anything within a pocket dimension and since time doesn't flow there, this ability is incredibly overpowered. Now that Kawaki has access to all his powers, he is also a user of this ability.
6 Space-time Ninjutsu
Space-time ninjutsu is nothing new to fans of Boruto as this technique has been central to many fights in Naruto. As the name suggests, Space-time ninjutsu allows the user to alter the time and space and create a rift in it.
In the case of Kawaki, he can create rifts in space-time and gain access to any place instantaneously, along with different dimensions. This technique eats up quite a lot of chakra, which is why, at first, he needed Boruto's help to use it. Now that he has grown stronger, he can access this Jutsu by himself.
5 Shadow Clone Jutsu
Initially, Kawaki did not possess the ability to use ninjutsu. However, under the guidance of none other than the Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, he gained the power to use several techniques that fall under ninjutsu. Given that Naruto Uzumaki is a master of the Shadow Clone Jutsu, it is no surprise that he taught this to Kawaki as well.
Now, he can make use of this ability as if he was born with it. He used this technique to trick Isshiki and played a key role in his eventual demise. Currently, this is one of the strongest weapons in his arsenal.
4 Fire Release
Fire Release is yet another ninjutsu that Kawaki managed to learn. It is highly likely that his chakra affinity is Fire and, as such, he can make use of these techniques with rather ease.
Kawaki has been seen making use of Fire Release on several occasions so far. While his mastery over the skill isn't the best just yet, in due time, Kawaki will surely become a master of it. Someone as strong as him is sure to make it into a powerful weapon.
3 Chakra Absorption
Thanks to the powers of the Karma, Kawaki has gained access to all the abilities that Isshiki had up his sleeve and this also includes chakra absorption. As the name indicates, chakra absorption allows him to absorb any form of chakra from anywhere.
This applies to all ninjutsu fired towards him as well as any sources of chakra, such as the bodies of other people. By merely placing his palm in front of a technique, Kawaki can easily absorb it. At the same time, he can place his palm on another human and absorb their chakra as well.
2 Black Rods
Black rods, also known as Chakra Receivers, are one of the most overpowered abilities that Kawaki possesses. Isshiki made use of them to subdue all of his enemies and Kawaki can potentially do the same. By firing these rods at the chakra points of a person, Isshiki was able to completely stop their chakra circulatory system.
At the same time, he was also able to injure them to an extreme degree. In the fight against Naruto and Sasuke, he was able to deliver serious injuries to both using this technique. Now that Kawaki has access to all his powers, he also has access to the ability to produce these black rods.
1 Karma Transformation
Karma Transformation is easily the strongest power that Kawaki has up his sleeve. When accessing the strongest form of this power, Kawaki grows a horn from the back of his head. This horn indicates that his powers have ascended to the next level and that he is at his very strongest.
Kawaki can also manifest the same Dojutsu as Isshiki. Although his Dojutsu is yet to mature, Kawaki can make good use of it, as seen on many occasions in the story already. Karma transformation boosts his power to the next level and makes him a force to be reckoned with.
