Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 5 is finally out and, once again, it has been somewhat of an exciting chapter for all the fans of the series. Previously, fans saw new villains emerge in the series and, most importantly, the fate of Sasuke was revealed to everyone. Fans saw Sasuke having been turned into a tree at some point during the timeskip and this was heartbreaking for them.
Why Boruto Must Stop Disrespecting Naruto Characters

In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 5, fans found out how exactly Sasuke met this fate and, more importantly, his incredible battle against Code. Much to the surprise of the fans, Sasuke actually fared pretty well against him and received some very amazing feats.
Boruto And Sasuke's Training
Towards the end of the original Boruto series, Boruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha left the village in order to train and get stronger. Boruto knew that if he wanted to stop Kawaki and, at the same time, rescue his parents and restore order to the world, he needed to get stronger. There was no one better than Sasuke around to teach him at that point and, of course, Sasuke himself wanted to set the record right as well. He believed his daughter's words and decided to save Boruto. At the same time, Sasuke came to realize that he himself needed to get stronger too. Sadly, fans did not get to see much of the timeskip of Boruto at all, however, with Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 5, a glimpse of their training was provided to the readers.
Boruto Uzumaki and Sasuke gathered around a fire and discussed the progress of the former’s training. According to Sasuke, Boruto had learned everything that he had to offer within one year and, if he continued to practice his skills, he would then go on to master the Uchiha style and become a fantastic shinobi. At this point, it appears that Sasuke was still stronger than Boruto in combat, which is quite surprising for many fans. Boruto's admiration for Sasuke was taken to a whole new level as he started to wear a similar outfit and, at the same time, even styled himself very similarly.
Code's Attack
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 5 showcased the relationship between Boruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha very well and the trust that the latter has in his apprentice. This relationship has become complicated ever since Omnipotence struck. However, after Omnipotence, Sasuke was led to believe that Boruto Uzumaki was actually the orphan that Naruto took in and the person responsible for killing Naruto Uzumaki. Even though he believed his daughter's words, his mind tells him something else entirely and, as a result, their relationship has become complicated. It would be hard, in this scenario, for Sasuke to risk his life for someone like Boruto, yet, he had grown incredibly close to Boruto in this time to the point where he saw resemblances between Boruto Uzumaki and Naruto.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Reveals 4 Major Villains
Boruto Part 2 showcases its new group of powerful villains.
As a result, he did not hesitate in risking his life when Code attacked. Fans already know that Code had been seeking out Kawaki and, since Omnipotence struck, he would go on to chase Boruto across the world. At some point, he ambushed them and this resulted in Boruto and Sasuke attempting to fight against him and his legion of Claw Grimes. Of course, Boruto and Sasuke are outnumbered in this battle and that is when Sasuke decided to take things into his own hands and fight Code all by himself, which was somewhat surprising to the fans but also a very brave thing for Sasuke to do. Sasuke was in desperate need of attention in Boruto and he certainly got it in this chapter, but this doesn't rectify things that have gone wrong with his character. What it does do is certainly give fun something to appreciate.
Sasuke Uchiha Takes Code's Eye
In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 5, Sasuke Uchiha was seen doing some very remarkable things. Sasuke took on Code and the legion of claw Grimes all by himself in combat. In fact, he even managed to take one of Code's eyes, which fans previously attributed to Boruto. It appears that Sasuke did this all by himself, even though Code has remarkable power.
Previously, in the story, it was made clear to the fans that Code had strength that far surpassed that of Jigen. Sasuke Uchiha had already fought Jigen with Naruto in the past and lost miserably. Yet, here, he was able to hold his own against someone much stronger than Jigen and even injure him greatly. In fact, had he not had a legion of claw grimes with him, who's to say that Sasuke wouldn't have done better.
That said, Sasuke clearly stated that he could not defeat Code in combat the way he was at the moment. As such, he decided to rush into combat all by himself and take on this incredible army with all his might. This suggests that Sasuke became stronger during the timeskip of Boruto and reached a level beyond that of Jigen all by himself. Even though he lost his Rinnegan, Sasuke has maintained his strength to a considerable degree and that also means that he is currently stronger than Naruto.
Sasuke Saves Boruto
Boruto Uzumaki was ordered by Sasuke to leave the battlefield to him and run for his life. Boruto originally did not want to do this, however, he did what his master had asked him to do. Boruto escaped the battlefield and Sasuke charged into the battle all by himself. It is most apparent for the fans to see that Sasuke chopped and cleaved apart the many Claw Grimes that Garp was accompanied with. In fact, he even fought Code for a significant period of time.
However, in the end, it was one of the Claw Grimes who got him and successfully managed to bite into him, draining him of all his chakra. Sasuke was then turned into a god tree and had all his chakra sucked out of his body. Boruto Uzumaki returned to the battlefield later on, and was utterly devastated at the scene. However, he couldn't have lost all hope there, since Sasuke had entrusted Sarada and the future of the world to him and he would certainly not fail him. This is exactly why Boruto took Sasuke's sword and claimed it as his own, to wield it in the memory of his master.
Now, it is up to Boruto to save the ninja world and restore balance. Boruto wants to save Sasuke and, more importantly, he wants to save the ninja world as well. It is clear to see that Boruto has significantly leveled up in terms of strength ever since, but, it might not be enough. Things are only heating up more in Boruto and while Sasuke is now officially cut out of the story, fans can only hope that more focus will be thrown on his character, either through flashback, or in the current timeline, later down the line.
