Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 10 dropped recently, and this month's manga provided fans with quite a lot of interesting information pertaining to Kurama and, of course, the Shinju, who are currently central to this arc. Fans were fully expecting a proper explanation regarding Kurama's survival to be delivered in this chapter, and that is precisely what ended up happening.

Kurama's return happened all of a sudden in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. Fans know that this mighty Tailed Beast ended up dying in the battle against Isshiki Otsutsuki. When Isshiki was able to fully resurrect, no force in the world of Naruto was strong enough to stop him. However, Kurama and Naruto found themselves using the basic principle of nuclear fusion, and they were able to create an entirely new form of energy, which allowed them to fight against this beastly entity. In the end, they paved the way for the defeat of Isshiki Otsutsuki. However, Kurama ended up losing his life in the process. From there onwards, Naruto Uzumaki was significantly weakened, and it was quite clear to the fans that he was now struggling to stay relevant in terms of high-level combat. Naruto was eventually sealed away, and with that, Boruto's timeskip was kickstarted as well.

As soon as the second half of the story began, fans knew that they were going to be in for many surprises, but little did fans know that Kurama would return early on. In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 9, fans finally got confirmation about Kurama's return. This happened when the Shinju invaded Konoha in an attempt to seek out Naruto. Unbeknownst to them, Kurama was not inside of Naruto but inside his daughter, Himawari. It appears that neither those close to Himawari nor she had any idea about Kurama's presence. However, the Shinju, being Tailed Beast products themselves, were able to sense the Tailed Beast inside of her. With that, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 9 confirmed that the Nine-Tails was well and truly inside Himawari Uzumaki, and this gave rise to an incredibly interesting equation in the series that fans were absolutely intrigued by.
How Kurama Survived
Kurama Resurrected After His Death Following Tailed Beast Principles
In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 10, the question of how Kurama survived was finally answered. Fans had many ideas in their minds, with some going as far as to suggest that the Tailed Beast inside of Himawari was not Kurama but a different version of the Nine Tails. Some others believed that Kurama always left a part of himself in Himawari before dying, while others believed that it was the same Tailed Beast that was inside Naruto. Boruto: TBV chapter 10 confirmed to the fans that Kurama was indeed inside of Himawari Uzumaki. It appears that the author does not seem too fixated on delivering a proper answer to this question.
Death is not eternal for Bijuu. Even if our flesh or soul perishes, over time a new kernel of us will sprout somewhere, and we will manage to return to life.
The author is more concerned with the fact that Kurama is inside of Himawari and how they are going to collaborate from here onwards. Still, fans did get an explanation as to how this happened. According to Kurama, the reason why he still exists is that Tailed Beasts never die. This isn't much of a surprise to the fans, given that the Naruto series already established this fact long ago. Tailed Beasts cannot die. Even if they do die, they spawn at some other place later down the line and continue existing. However, fans have never seen a Tailed Beast spawn in a baby state or inside of another individual, making that individual a Jinchuriki. This was quite a strange decision by the author and one that doesn't really make much sense.
Boruto: Kishimoto Finally Reveals The Hidden Power Inside Himawari
Himawari's source of power is finally revealed in Boruto TBV.
Regardless, the explanation that the author provided simply focused on the fact that it was fate at play here and that Kurama did not expect to be reborn inside of Himawari. As to how a Tailed Beast gets reborn inside of an individual, fans do not know. Kurama then hinted at the fact that this might just be because she was born with a bit of his chakra. He also insinuated that Himawari is special because she has the powers of both the Uzumaki and the Hyuga bloodlines, which might make her unique.
Of course, at this point, fans aren't too bothered by the explanation that the author has provided, and instead are concerned with how the story develops from here onwards. Now, it is confirmed that Himawari is essentially a Jinchuriki with tremendous power inside of her, and that is exciting for the future of the series.
How Strong Is Kurama With Himawari?
Kurama And Himawari Form A Powerful Duo
As to how strong Kurama is, fans know for a fact that he's not going to be as strong as he was with Naruto. For one, he's in a very young form at this point in time. He doesn't appear to be a fully developed Tailed Beast, which means that his strength is likely not the same as his full-grown form. Still, he's a Tailed Beast, which means that he should still have an abundance of chakra inside of him. Kurama is likely going to showcase his power soon enough, as Himawari is likely going to clash against the Shinju very soon. In the previous chapter, fans did get to see Himawari finally tap into Kurama's power and enter a Tailed Beast state. While this state is most definitely not going to be her strongest, what fans know for a fact is that Himawari can only get stronger from here onwards.
In fact, she can even make better use of Kurama than Naruto himself. This is due to the fact that Kurama's affinity with Himawari is even greater than Naruto Uzumaki's. Essentially, Hima can go on to become the very best Jinchuriki of the Tailed Beast that fans have ever seen, and that is very exciting for all the readers.
In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 11, fans will most definitely find out how strong Kurama truly is and whether being in a younger state affects his strength in any way. There is much more Kurama has to offer, and fans simply need to be patient and see what he has up his sleeve when he takes on the likes of Jura in combat, with Himawari at his side as a completely new Jinchuriki and beast duo.
