The God Tree, also known as the Shinju, has been quite an interesting concept in the world of Naruto and Boruto for quite a while now. Simply put, the God Tree is a 10 Tails seedling that can be planted on any planet, which then grows to drain it off its chakra, and manifest a chakra fruit.
Boruto Could Get Canceled And Here's Why

Fans have seen a God Tree back in the Naruto days and they have also seen one in the Boruto series. In the latter, however, the God Tree has successfully evolved, thanks to interference from Code. This evolution has led The God Tree to create certain clones of individuals that it has absorbed chakra from, and these Shinju clones are absolutely magnificent. Currently, the Shinju clones are the main villains in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, with each one of them possessing insurmountable strength, along with some amazing abilities up their sleeve.
4 Unnamed Clone
Born As A Clone Of Bug
Bug's clone was the very first of the God Tree clones that fans could see in the Boruto series. This clone is based off of Bug, who fans knew to be a follower of Code. Bug was quite weak and certainly not a match for even a Jonin. However, now, he has been strengthened quite a lot.
Thanks to being absorbed by the Grimes, the God Tree has created a copy of Bug that possesses tremendous strength. Naturally, Bug's clone is powered by 10 Tails chakra, and at the same time, has two Rinnegan. Furthermore, it also possesses the ability to utilize various appendages and deal tremendous damage to its enemies. Bug's clone was able to take on Boruto in combat and overpower him, forcing him to use a very powerful Jutsu to escape. The full extent of his abilities is unknown at the moment, however, what fans know for sure is that he will be seen in combat very soon. This is down to the fact that he wants to take on Ada in combat and consume her, which means that Bug's clone will be up against her and most likely Daemon as well.
3 Matsuri
Born As A Clone Of Moegi Kazamatsuri
Matsuri is a powerful Shinju clone who fans were introduced to in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. Matsuri is quite a familiar figure to the fans, given that she was created by the chakra of Moegi. At some point, Moegi fought against the Claw Grimes, and, in order to save Konoha citizens, she gave herself up and was bitten by one of them.
The Five Kage In Boruto, Ranked By Strength
The Five Kage are some of the most powerful characters in Boruto.
As a result, she had her chakra drained, and with her chakra, a clone related. Naturally, Matsuri possesses incredible amounts of chakra, and she has access to the power of the 10 Tails as well. Furthermore, she has access to two Rinnegan, which makes her one of the most powerful individuals in the entire series. Matsuri also has access to all Jutsu that Moegi had as well. This means that she can utilize the power of Earth Release, as well as Water Release. Given that Moegi is known to have the Kekkei Genkai of Wood Release, Matsuri should be able to utilize this ability as well.
2 Hidari
Born As A Clone Of Sasuke Uchiha
Hidari is known to be the second strongest individual in the God Tree clones. He is a very special individual, as he is based off of Sasuke Uchiha. Sasuke was seen fighting against Code and his entire army of Claw Grimes all by himself in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. To protect Boruto, he gave himself up and was eventually bitten by one of the Claw Grimes. This turned Sasuke into a tree and sucked all his chakra from him. As a result, a clone was born and this loan was named Hidari.
Hidari looks just like Sasuke, only he is much stronger. He is powered by 10 Tails chakra, and of course, has access to Rinnegan as well. To make things worse, Hidari has access to every single jutsu that Sasuke has, which makes him one of the strongest individuals in the entire Boruto series. He was briefly seen in combat against Boruto Uzumaki, and he certainly proved to be superior to him.
1 Jura
Born As A Clone Of A Mysterious Individual
It appears that the strongest of the Shinju clones in Boruto is none other than Jura. It is unknown currently who Jura is a clone of. However, it appears that Jurah has connections to Isshiki Otsutsuki, given that he looks exactly like him. He is quite strong, and he appears to be the leader of the group.
As is the case with every other God Tree clone, Jura has access to 10 Tails chakra, and at the same time, two Rinnegan as well. His other abilities remain unknown at the moment. That said, if he is truly a clone of Isshiki, then he should have access to techniques such as Sukunahikona, and Daikokotan.
Boruto: 17 Characters Stronger Than Naruto Uzumaki
While far from weak, Naruto is no longer the powerhouse he used to be, and he has been surpassed by a few Boruto characters.
