The Karma is known to be an incredible power in the world of Boruto. Introduced first with Boruto Uzumaki, the protagonist of the series, the Karma can be bestowed to one only by an Otsutsuki. This power is a gateway for an Otsutsuki to remain alive forever by switching bodies. Granting tremendous power, as all the abilities of the altitude are transferred to the vessel, Boruto Uzumaki has grown significantly stronger ever since receiving this seal.

At the same time, another character who wields the Karma is Kawaki, who is also one of the main characters in the series. While Boruto bore the Karma of Momoshiki Otsutsuki, Kawaki possesses one given to him by Isshiki Otsutsuki. Interestingly, there aren't Just two users of the Karma in Boruto right now. There was also Jigen, a monk used by Isshiki who is already dead, and there is also a Karma anomaly that belongs to Code of the Kara – the White Karma.

Code's White Karma: What Is It?

Code White Karma

Just like Kawaki, the secrets of Code's Karma are deeply tied to Isshiki Otsutsuki. The latter came to earth a millennium ago with Kaguya Otsutsuki with the goal to farm a God tree and feed on the planet's power. Kaguya, the lower-ranked Otsutsuki, was supposed to be fed to the 10-tails in order for it to bear a powerful fruit. However, she turned on Isshiki and ended up attacking him. Isshiki, who barely survived, turned a monk named Jigen into his vessel and bestowed the Karma onto him. Yet, he knew that the body of the monk was not strong enough to hold all his power. As such, he needed a better body which is where his quest for finding the perfect vessel began.

Over decades, Jigen continued his search for the perfect vessel. With Amado at his side, he conducted experiments on many children, one of which was Code. The majority of the children who were experimented upon with his Karma died, but two survivors remained. Kawaki, the one who bore his Karma successfully, endured a lot of pain and received Isshiki's power in return. On the other hand, there was an anomaly in the case of Code, who was still a failure yet managed to survive somehow. Normally, a failure in the Karma transfer process results in death yet Code survived the ordeal, and what's even more intriguing is that he ended up receiving a White Karma. The seals are usually black in color and are used for the Otsutsuki to resurrect once they die. In the case of the White Karma, things are a bit different.

While this Karma certainly does grant tremendous power to Code, it cannot be used for resurrection. As such, it exists purely as a weapon of mass destruction. Why exactly Code received this White Karma instead of dying is something that the author has not explained just yet, however, there is likely a reason for that. Regardless, Code's strength shot through the roof and he became one of the strongest members of the Kara with these powers up his sleeve.

How Strong Is Code's Karma?

Code In Boruto Naruto Next Generations

Simply put, a Karma contains all the data of an Otsutsuki that is compressed into a tiny seal and is then bestowed upon a vessel. With time, the seal slowly extracts itself and when the process is complete, the Otsutsuki can then be resurrected. As the extraction process goes on, the seal also adds all the experience, the abilities, and the powers of the Otsutsuki to the body. As such, every single Karma in existence boosts the power of the vessel tremendously. While Code certainly isn't a perfect vessel, he is still tremendously powerful as his Karma functions as a pure weapon. Interestingly, not only was Code bestowed with a powerful tool, but his White Karma somehow also gave him the strength that surpassed even that of Jigen. Expectedly, even the leader of Kara grew scared of him and the power that he possessed. To subdue all threats from him, Jigen had limiters installed on his body that severely suppressed his abilities. Despite that, Code was still confident that he was one of the strongest Inners of the Kara and stronger than the likes of Delta and Boro.

In the recent arc of Boruto, fans saw Code demonstrate the powers of the White Karma. Despite being suppressed, he was strong enough to completely overwhelm the likes of Naruto Uzumaki and even keep up with Boruto in his Karma state. Even with his power suppressed, he was strong enough to withstand Kawaki's Karma powers and even use Daemon to aid him in battle. After kidnapping Amado, Code's Karma limiters have finally been removed, meaning he is one of the strongest, if not the strongest, characters in the story. Yet, there exist those who can perfectly counter his abilities. Fans saw Daemon, one of the cyborgs created to handle the threat of Jigen by Amado, deal with him pretty effectively.

There is no doubting the fact that Code is stronger than Jigen and most likely the strongest human alive right now. However, the cyborgs created to counter Jigen, Ada, and Damon, are both incredibly powerful and can deal with his threat effectively. Nonetheless, Code is still monstrously powerful and a threat that Konoha cannot deal with right now. With time, his White Karma is only going to grow stronger and make him a bigger threat than Jigen ever was. For now, Code plans on gaining more strength so he can eventually destroy anyone and everyone who stands in his way.
