Last month's Boruto chapter was quite intriguing as fans finally got to see what Code's true power was really like. After having his limiters finally removed by Amado, Code's strength grew drastically. He also underwent a physical transformation, with his hair turning silver and his body emanating a different aura. Surprisingly, Code wasn't nearly as impressive as fans thought he would be. Despite being stronger than the likes of Jigen, he was still much weaker compared to the cyborgs named Eida and Daemon. The latter demonstrated his powers in the same chapter and was able to completely overwhelm Code in battle.
While fans saw Code escape using his teleportation jutsu, Eida and Daemon struck a deal with Amado and will now be traveling to Konoha. Boruto Chapter 72 is going to be crucial in establishing a link between them and the village, and, at the same time, will also focus more on Code's struggle to gain more power and take revenge against those who he thinks have done him wrong.
Boruto Chapter 72: The Meeting In Konoha
Boruto Chapter 72 will most likely focus on Eida, Daemon, and Amado traveling to Konoha. Although Amado was previously kidnapped by Code, he will return to the village safely. It is likely that Shikamaru and even Naruto will blame him for removing Code's limiters and giving them another enemy to deal with, however, as Amado mentioned himself, they need him to keep Kawaki in check. As such, Konoha is forced to take his services and keep him safe at the same time.
Boruto Chapter 72 will also focus on the village striking a deal with Eida and Daemon. While it is true that they can't be trusted, given the power that they hold, they could also work in the benefit of the village. This is simply down to the fact that Naruto Uzumaki and even Sasuke Uchiha are not as strong as they once were. As such, to counter the threat of Code, the village needs more firepower and that's exactly what these two offer. For as long as Eida is allowed to be in Kawaki's presence, the village will enjoy the services of possibly the two strongest people in the entire world. It is unlikely for the village to have any problems in letting the two join, as it was Shikamaru's idea, to begin with. Fans will most certainly see both of them become Konoha citizens in Boruto chapter 72. Eida's ability would also come in handy for the village as not only can she bewitch anyone but also use clairvoyance, which would help them keep track of threats such as Code.
Boruto Chapter 72: Amado's True Goal

Amado is yet another character who will play a key role in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapter 72. Fans have been wondering about his true motivations for the longest time and until now, little to nothing has been revealed about him. In the previous chapter, Amado was finally ready to reveal his true intentions to the likes of Eida and Daemon. His request, however, was that they travel to Konoha first because he also needs to tell them this huge secret. As such, Boruto chapter 72 will finally reveal one of the biggest mysteries so far in the series. With Amado revealing his true intentions, the chapter is likely going to be much more intense than usual. Furthermore, it will be interesting to see how the village responds to his true goals and whether or not that places them in any immediate danger.
Code's Plan

It is possible that Code will also be in the next Boruto chapter. After escaping from Eida and Daemon, Code swore vengeance on Kawaki as he is the sole reason why everything that he wanted in life was stripped away from him. For Code, there is only one goal right now and that is to gain more strength. How he's going to go about it is something fans don't know yet. Code may go from planet to planet trying to get stronger and prepare to be able to destroy the likes of Kawaki. Regardless, he is certainly going to become one of the biggest villains in the upcoming arcs. Once he returns having gained great power, he is certainly going to attack the Kawaki. Furthermore, he also intends to kill his friends and everyone else who he holds there, and then finally kill him. Boruto Chapter 72 could very well lay the foundation for this.

Being a monthly manga serialized in V-Jump, Boruto would normally be just around the corner. However, the manga seems to be on break this month.
