An important reason why Borderlands has left a significant impact on many is its aesthetic. From the very first entry in the series, the pseudo cel-shaded art design of the Borderlands series greatly attributes to all other in-game aspects, such as world-building, character designs, and enemy designs. Now, one fan of the series has taken various pieces of Borderlands iconography and applied it to an uncommon form factor.

Over the years, the Borderlands fan base has created some truly impressive content. This includes weapon replicas, fan art, and cosplay, with one fan even making a custom Loader Bot made out of Legos. The ingenuity and passion it takes to create all of this fan-made content is astounding. Although, one fan in particular has created something much more distinctive by comparison.

A Reddit user named Dexscott took an arcade cabinet and overlaid Borderlands images on top of it. This includes box art taken from Borderlands 2 and 3, as well as a gigantic image of Krieg as seen in Borderlands 2. Not to mention the use of the original Borderlands logo displayed prominently on top of where the title of the arcade cabinet would normally be.

There are also a cacophony of additional details that make this arcade cabinet incredibly unique. According to Dexscott, the intro to Borderlands 2 plays upon start-up, the cabinet has a wide selection of classic games for players to choose from, and it even includes a built-in fridge for users to store drinks in.

In any case, it's amazing to see just how much passion fans have put into their various Borderlands-themed creations. Even though the games that can be played on this arcade cabinet have next to nothing to do with Borderlands, the aesthetic of the cabinet still manages to stand out. It's fascinating how Borderlands fans have managed to apply the series' art design to a variety of different mediums, as one fan managed to make a stained-glass suncatcher with using the Vault symbol.

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for the Borderlands series going forward, as well as what fan art gamers come up with next. While Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is set to launch next year, it's unlikely that another mainline Borderlands installment will release anytime soon. Considering the five year gap between the release of Borderlands 2 and Borderlands 3, the next game in the series will almost certainly take a while to release.
