As Borderlands 3 approaches its one year anniversary, it is showing no signs of slowing down. With the success of the recent Bounty of Blood DLC, players are continuing to pour hours and hours into this game as they loot and shoot their way through hordes of enemies. In celebration of a year well spent, Borderlands 3 will have six weeks of events that will reward players handsomely.

Week 1 starts off the event with ECHOcast Overload. This event runs from July 30 to August 6. For this first week, there are better odds of getting loot during Rare Chest Events when players use the ECHOcast Twitch extension.

Week 2 is Bonus Boss Loot and runs from August 6 to August 13. During this week, most of the bosses in Borderlands 3 will have an increased chance to drop Legendary loot. This means that players’ Legendary weapon lists can be checked off pretty well, making Mayhem 10 much easier.

Week 3 is Loot Monster Mayhem from August 13 to August 20. Players will see an increased spawn for loot variant enemies, so old farming habits could come into play for this week. Players will need to be sure to look out for those Loot Tinks and grab their goodies.

Week 4, stretching August 20 to August 27, is Show Me The Eridium. During this week, enemies will have increased Eridium drops. There will also be Eridium item discounts in the shop, so it is the perfect time to finish buying all of Crazy Earl’s cosmetics.

Week 5 brings with it Mayhem Made Mild. From August 27 to September 3, Mayhem mode will only have Easy modifiers. This will allow players who have struggled with the higher Mayhem levels in the past to be able to clear their way up to Mayhem 10 with ease.

The final week in this event is Making It Rain. From September 3 to September 10, enemies will drop more money. This means that players who are missing any ammo and backpack upgrades should be able to finish them off fairly easily. Players will surely take advantage of the slot machines during this week in order to dump off all of their looted cash.

Players don’t have to have any Borderlands 3 DLC in order to take part in these six events. All that is required is the base game. This also stands as a perfect point for newcomers to finally try out Borderlands 3 and get off to a great loot start.

Borderlands 3 is available now on Google Stadia, PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
