Borderlands 3 is regularly adding new content to keep players entertained. With the new Director's Cut DLC giving veterans a reason to return to the game, it is also inspiring new players to pick up a copy for themselves. This has renewed interest in a lot of the game's content, including the hunt for rare monsters.

Borderlands 3 is filled with creature hunts that players can complete to get rare loot and rewards. These monsters can appear all over the game and will normally be accompanied by a group of lesser creatures that make the idea of taking them on even scarier.

The Red Jabber is one such creature, and all players are in luck when it comes to tracking it down. The Red Jabber appears on Eden-6, one of the areas in the main campaign. As such, players do not need to own any DLC to be able to hunt this sinister simian-wannabe and test themselves in combat against it.

Red Jabber Map Location Borderlands 3

To find the Red Jabber, players can spawn at the Rogue's Hollow fast travel point in the Ambermire region, then head directly north. Near the top of the map, where it curves to the east, they will find a rundown building that is now home to a large group of Jabbers. They are led by the infamous Red Jabber. This can be a tough fight, and it makes sense to pick off the weaker Jabbers before focusing down the Red Jabber.

Players who have already purchased the Director's Cut DLC can use these creature hunts to earn some extra experience to help them get Fallen Heroes Vault Card rewards. The Red Jabber also has a high chance of dropping some Legendary loot, making the fight worthwhile for any player. It is worth keeping in mind that the Red Jabber is not a guaranteed spawn. Players who visit the area and cannot find the beast should reload into the region and then try again.

The Red Jabber can drop some great Borderlands 3 Legendary weapons, including the Firestorm and Storm Sniper Rifles and the Rough Rider Shield. The Red Jabber has no shields or armor, so elemental types that are effective against health are recommended. Incendiary damage is great in this fight, as players can hit Red Jabber, inflicting damage over time, then focus out his friends. Radiation damage will also be highly effective as the enemies will cluster quite close together, allowing players to take advantage and easily spread Radiation damage between all targets.

Borderlands 3 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
