There are many ways to farm legendaries in Borderlands 3, from a BL3 unlimited boss spawn to temporary events and beyond. Perhaps one of the easiest Borderlands 3 legendary farms comes by way of playing the slot machines in Moxxi's bar on Sanctuary, as this method requires no combat and no save-quitting. However, players that are attempting to farm Moxxi's slot machines may find themselves frequently low on cash and needing to stop to farm money, but a simple trick offers a nice workaround for this issue.

To note, using this Borderlands 3 glitch requires playing offline and in Mayhem Mode 3. As such, only players that have completed the Borderlands 3 story will be able to take advantage of this BL3 glitch. Furthermore, certain PS4 players have reported that they are unable to execute this Borderlands 3 exploit at all, but some suggest that this can be corrected by repeating the method detailed here several times.

With that established, and a player offline and in Mayhem Mode 3, performing this BL3 exploit is exceedingly simple. It begins by visiting Moxxi's bar and identifying the slot machines that have the potential to pay out money. This can be determined by looking at the boards affixed on the slot machines, and the ones that have green dollar signs have a chance to award players with cash in Borderlands 3.

From there, players should proceed to fast travel to any Borderlands 3 map and then fast travel back to Sanctuary. When they have returned to Moxxi's bar, players should find that the cash-awarding slot machines now grant 10x more cash than they did prior to the fast traveling. This additional money should allow players to continuously farm Moxxi's slot machines in Borderlands 3, making farming legendaries extremely easy.

That said, there are certainly a number of ways to farm money in Borderlands 3, but this BL3 trick allows that to be done while also farming Moxxi's slot machines for legendary weapons and class mods. That is sure to make this a very desirable BL3 legendary farm for some players, and they should be sure to capitalize on this Borderlands 3 trick now, as it may only be a matter of time before Gearbox Software addresses it with a hotfix.

Borderlands 3 is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Stadia version also in development.
