Easily one of the most well-received additions to Borderlands 2, it seems Tiny Tina's time in the spotlight is far from over. After bringing an unrivaled level of quirk and insanity to the Borderlands formula, Gearbox Software decided she wasn't just a fun side character, but deserving of her very own DLC adventure - Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, posing the diminutive craftsman as the dungeonmaster of an epic fantasy adventure.

While that DLC may have already been released, it seems fans of Tina don't even have to wait for the next batch of downloadable content - or the inevitable sequel - to get more of her unique brand of reality-bending humor. Tina stars in '+5 To Punching,' a short film acting as prologue to Dragon Keep, and giving another look at just how useful a potent imagination can be.

Given Gearbox's signature brand of humor seen in Borderlands 2, it shouldn't come as a surprise to see torture, gender-bending, skeleton knights and explicit references to fantasy role-playing games featured in Tina's short film. Assault on Dragon Keep brought some of the most wide-sweeping changes to Borderlands 2 yet, swapping out the usual inhabitants of Pandora for fantasy creatures, and placing Tiny Tiny in charge of a life-sized game of 'Bunkers & Badasses' (read: Dungeons & Dragons).

There's no question that Tiny Tina (voiced by Ashly Burch) is a strong enough character to carry her very own short film, but our only question is whether this is an isolated event, or a sign that Gearbox is looking to bring even more content to its rabid fan base than simply add-on expansions. The studio has shown they're interested in writing more than just games, and their history with DLC support means a Borderlands 3 is likely farther off than it would be in the hands of a different team.

Time will tell if '+5 To Punching' is just the first of many short films starring the series' main characters, but given the doors left open with the DLC's closing moments, we'd bet that fans of Borderlands can still look forward to some of the weirdest, wildest adventures yet.
