The series Blue Lock is loved for its vast array of characters, each with a unique set of strengths and attributes known as weapons. While many characters are notable for their strength, agility, and ball control, some also possess a different kind of power in addition to those that make a great striker.

10 Meguru Bachira

Meguru Bachira is the jovial player who leads Yoichi Isagi to his first awakening. Because Bachira is a skilled player with the weapon of elastic dribbling, it is easy to dismiss his deep understanding of soccer and what it takes to be a great player.

Bachira plays soccer with ease and delight. He has an outlook that masks the intention behind his moves and his connection to his intuition and instinct. He is also great at reading people, especially Isagi, as he does during Team Z’s game of Tag. He sees deeper than the surface level and acts accordingly.

9 Kenyu Yukimiya

Where Bachira dribbles with technique and footwork, Kenyu Yukimiya uses his build and speed to overpower opponents when dribbling. With an eye condition that could soon cut his soccer playing days short, Yukimiya plays with an intense determination to become the best striker as quickly as possible.

Although he is well equipped regarding physical skill, Yukimiya also uses quick analysis on the field to find ways to cut through the opponents’ defense and secure his win. Off the field, Yukimiya is also quick to ask questions, never hesitating to know more about situations that affect him.

8 Asahi Naruhuya

Although Asahi Naruhuya lacks the skills to help him survive Blue Lock, he displays some of his reasoning ability before he’s disqualified during the second selection. Nahuruya shows self-awareness and the ability to assess a situation objectively.

Teamed up with Shoei Baro for the 2-on-2 matches, he quickly works out the best option for his survival and attempts to break Isagi’s psyche down to ensure his progress. But when his plan fails, he objectively assesses his failure and understands what makes him a weaker player while displaying appreciable sportsmanship.

7 Ryusei Shido

Ryusei Shido, who, according to Ego Jinpachi, is the perfect egoistical striker, runs on instinct and a raw animal drive. A Blue Lock Project contender, he’s as violent and unfriendly as they come, confident in his brilliance as a soccer player.

He is equipped with extreme spatial awareness and incredible reflexes and easily takes advantage of opportunities to score goals. He can observe what’s happening on the field and direct himself toward a goal, proving his quick mental reasoning and analytical skills responsible for his proficient goal-scoring while in play.

6 Oliver Aiku

Oliver Aiku getting offered a contract from an unnamed club in Serie A is a testament to his exceptional soccer abilities. He was initially a striker who effortlessly transitioned to a defender, owing to his exceptional spatial awareness and commanding physicality. His abilities allow him to effectively study his opponents' movements and disrupt their play through his sweeping defensive style.

Aiku holds the U2 team together, strengthening the defense and commanding the play. When he gets into flow, he quickly finds gaps in the defense and fills them before conceding, and he’s excellent at figuring out what moves a striker might make and closing their options quickly.

He possesses the unique ability to quickly assess the strengths and weaknesses of his opponents, allowing him to take the necessary measures to neutralize any threats.

His in-depth understanding of the game and remarkable analytical skills make him a valuable asset to his team and a stabilizing force in both attack and defense, allowing them to stay one step ahead. 3 Rin Itoshi

1 Jinpachi Ego

Jinpachi Ego is the mastermind behind the Blue Lock program. In every episode, he displays his incredible knowledge of soccer and the characteristics of a great striker. He has only one goal: to create the best striker in the world.

Ego creatively devised the Blue Lock system with his initiative and runs the process with extreme objectivity. He is highly perceptive, intelligent, and confident in the system he built and the players he creates. He believes that a big ego makes a great striker and strategically pushes his players into what he believes is the perfect egotistical striker.
