One of the most beloved parts Bloodborne is the intricately detailed world of Yharnam, its setting. Bloodborne players become very familiar with the map's maze-like layout and interconnecting areas throughout a playthrough, but it still can be very difficult for new players to remember exactly how all of the areas connect to one another.

This is because the maps of games like Dark Souls and Bloodborne are generally very complicated. The worlds of the games often feel much more organic and realistic because the areas within them are interconnected through a complicated network of passages and shortcuts. This has lead to worlds like Yharnam having their own character and spirit in Bloodborne.

For players who are still struggling to get Yharnam's layout down or fans who just want to see it laid out as a cool map, Reddit user Hypnotyks has made a great resource. Hypnotyks' map was posted to the Bloodborne subreddit just a few days ago and shows the exact layout of the maps for the base game with some handy color coding as well. It is rather interesting to see the maps laid out as they are. Unfortunately, the map does not include locations for Bloodborne's The Old Hunters DLC, but it does include Hunter's Nightmare.

It is pretty interesting to see exactly how Yharnam is laid out, as well as to see how everything connects and the odd spacing for some of its locations that are more spaced out. It would also be interesting to see if the map would change at all if The Old Hunters was included. It will also be interesting to see a similar map when From Software's Elden Ring comes out, as its open-field concept for its world design will likely be quite different from the worlds in their previous titles.

It is great to see just how dedicated and long-lasting Bloodborne's community has been. Despite the game releasing in 2015 there are still many fans playing it to this day as well as making new fan art and content surrounding Bloodborne and Yharnam. Perhaps most impressively, there is even the yearly Return to Yarnham event that sees Bloodborne being flooded with new and returning players to celebrate the game. There have been many rumors of Bloodborne ports, remasters, sequels, or spiritual successors, so hopefully, one of them ends up being true so that the community gets more of the content and world that they love so dearly.

Bloodborne is available now on PlayStation 4.
