This is all captured in detailed and lore-rich locations, from the village of Yharnam to the central hub of the Hunter's Dream. One fan sought to capture the mysterious and otherworldly vibes of the Hunter's Dream with a recent project.
In Bloodborne, players come to the dream after they experience their first death. From there, the Hunter's Dream becomes a central hub of activity, where the player's Hunter can level up, upgrade their weapons, or buy items. Players can teleport back to this location any time they interact with a lit lantern. This place is an otherworldly location in the world of Bloodborne, with a building resembling a workshop. This made it the perfect backdrop for an artist on Reddit who painted the landmark with acrylics.
MapleFoxArt on Reddit is an artist who specializes in traditional paintings, with some other franchises they've painted including The Witcher and Dishonored. On the Bloodborne subreddit, they posted a few photos of their newest painting depicting the Hunter's Dream, and the painting shows several different aspects found in the game. The central workshop that players can enter is painted, with the light of the lanterns surrounding the building in a comforting glow, with a full moon shining down on the place.
Fellow users of the subreddit have commented on the piece, noting the ethereal and misty dreamlike state the painting gives off. Some fans even went as far as to say that it could be almost like a portal to the location in-game. One part of the piece that was striking for some users was the choice 0f frame, which is decorated with runes on the side. These are known as Caryll Runes, an item used for upgrading in Bloodborne, giving the art an extra layer of authenticity.
While fans are craving more from the world of Bloodborne, From Software's efforts are currently focused on different projects that will be launching soon. While the rumor of a potential spiritual successor called Velvet Veil has popped up, many big names have debunked those rumors. Still, even if this rumored spiritual successor is lost to the darkness, From Software's other big title Elden Ring could potentially fill the void come 2022.
