A well-known leaker has claimed that a new Bleach game by KLAB will be released on Nintendo Switch. This leak was provided by MbKKssTBhz5, or Midori, a leaker best known for providing incredibly accurate information about future games released by Sega. While Sega doesn't have the rights for games based on Bleach, Midori has provided information about a future game that will be released on the Nintendo Switch hardware.

The Bleach franchise has had a number of licensed games in the early to mid-2000s, as it was a part of the "Big 3" anime, standing alongside Naruto and One Piece. Some of these included fighting games, RPGs, and hack-and-slash action games. While the series hasn't had as many new games as Naruto or One Piece in recent years, as the manga concluded back in 2016, the 2022 anime has seen the series making a bit of a comeback. One game that is still active today is Bleach: Brave Souls, a free-to-play beat 'em up gacha game that was released in 2016 for mobile devices, before being ported to the PC and PS4 in the early 2020s. Based on new information from Midori, Brave Souls might be coming to Switch sometime soon.

In a recent Twitter thread, Midori posted that a game related to the Bleach series will be released on the Switch. When asked who the publisher was, Midori simply said KLab. As KLabGames was both the developer and publisher of Brave Souls, many suspected that the Bleach gacha game would be getting a port to the Switch, similar to the ports on PC and PS4.

New Bleach Game Developed By KLab is Coming to Switch, Says Midori

Many were a little disappointed when Midori revealed that KLab was the publisher, as Bleach hasn't had a new big budget console game since 2011's Soul Resurrección, and that they would have preferred a new fighting or adventure action game instead of a possible port of an existing game. That said, KLab did announce earlier this month that a new Bleach game was in development, with it being a "hybrid casual game" that combines the simplicity of casual games with the mechanics of online games to provide a long-lasting experience.

Rumors of a new Bleach game have surfaced recently too, when a game called "Bleach: Rebirth of Souls" was trademarked sometime late last year. While details for Rebirth of Souls are scarce, it appears to be a console game. That said, rumors are still rumors, so fans should take Midori's leak with a grain of salt for now.
