Blasphemous 2 is the long-awaited sequel to The Game Kitchen's 2019 Metroidvania game. Blasphemous made players struggle due to its extreme difficulty, so much so that the game garnered comparisons to Dark Souls, a discussion also fueled by its Soulslike combat.

To be precise, the main story takes players about 13 hours to complete, and the side quests take another 7 hours, thus in total, fans spend around 20 hours to beat the game. However, some fans still managed to play it for roughly 30 hours. But this doesn't mean that these two games have the same amount of content, rather it confirms the fact that the original part was just much more difficult.
