A YouTuber has created a concept trailer for an open-world Black Panther game using Unreal Engine 5. With recent news that EA was working on three Marvel games, this fanmade trailer has fueled gamers' excitement for a standalone Black Panther game.

Back in July, there was a rumor that EA was already developing a Black Panther game under the codename "Project Rainier." According to industry insider Jeff Grubb, it's said to be a single-player open-world game that will follow the player's journey to becoming the new Black Panther. Previously, T'Challa was only featured in Marvel's Avengers as a playable character.

While there's still no official confirmation about the Black Panther game yet, artist and YouTuber TeaserPlay decided to create a concept trailer built on Unreal Engine 5 for the possible open-world game. The video shows T'Challa walking around New York City, jumping off buildings, and hanging off an aircraft. Viewers also get a good look at his suit. TeaserPlays noted in the video's description that they used high-end graphics, such as ray tracing and lumen, to create the trailer's realistic-looking setting and the character's fluid movements.

Fans in the YouTube comments seemed to be blown away by the concept trailer, with one saying that EA's Black Panther game should look like this. In one reply, TeaserPlays explained that they made this concept trailer to give EA a peek of what fans would want to see. This isn't the YouTuber's first Unreal Engine 5-built video game concept trailer. They also created one for a theoretical Venom open-world game.

It's safe to say that there's a huge demand for Black Panther in video games ever since he debuted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2016, and getting a standalone movie two years later. Apart from his feature in the 2020 Marvel's Avengers game, the superhero is also set to appear in Skydance New Media's upcoming narrative game featuring Captain America and Black Panther. The latter will be T'Challa's grandfather Azurri as it's set during World War 2. Despite this news, fans still want to explore Wakanda and other locations with the King of Wakanda as the main character.

Unfortunately, gamers might have to wait a few years before the Black Panther game comes out. Grubb previously predicted that it will probably launch on or before 2025. For now, fans will have to grab tickets to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever to experience the hero's adventures.
