The Magic Knights are squads of powerful magic users who protect the Clover Kindom against internal and external attacks. Becoming a Magic Knight is among the highest levels of recognition and fame a mage can get in the Clover Kingdom. They are revered and respected by noblemen and commoners alike; however, this reverence and respect are hardly ever extended to the Black Bulls.
The Black Bulls are a ragtag team of misfits handpicked by their captain—Yami Sukehiro. No team attracts more disdain and disgust from all within the Clover Kingdom than the Black Bulls. Nevertheless, they have a host of strong mages within their ranks.
15 Gauche Adlai

The manga and anime initially depict Gauche as a gag character, with the running gag being his borderline obsessive love for his much younger sister. However, he possesses powerful mirror magic that allows him to deflect attacks and shoot deadly light beams. He can also take this power a step further by making copies of himself or any other thing with his mirrors, and it is not limited to one copy. This ability gives him a significant boost in battle. For instance, in the Dark Triad arc, Gauche can be seen making multiple copies of Charmy so she can transmute Moris’s tendrils away.
Gauche also has a magic tool implanted into his eye, allowing him to increase his spells' power. After an elf also possessed him, Gauche gained a significant boost in strength because the elven mana still dwelled within him.
14 Gordon Agrippa
As everyone’s favorite sheepish Goth king, Gordon possesses poison magic which he can use to weaken(or worse) his opponents. Gauche later developed his ability to heal his allies in battle by turning the poison into medicine. During the Dark Triad arc, Gordon can manipulate a curse placed on someone to better work for him or them through the ability—The Curse Worker’s Neighbour. For example, he used this on Henry(who can involuntarily drain the power of anyone close to him) and allowed him to choose whose magic power he could drain.
Gordon can also use his curse magic to construct sentient poisonous badgers to attack his opponents. He also could go to the deepest parts of the Ultime-Volcano Mountain Trail using mana skin, a difficult feat for many mages.
13 Magna Swing
Magna is a commoner and a 5th-class Junior Magic Knight. He is a fire magic wielder and a 5th-class Junior Magic Knight. He is often seen as a weaker team member since he had difficulty controlling his magic earlier.
Magna increases his strength after going out with Luck to find a cure for Asta’s cursed hands. He faced and defeated many high-level adversaries in a high mana zone dungeon. After six months of training in rune arrays with Zora, Magna can conjure a Soul Chain that equalizes the people's power. He uses this Chain to defeat Dante.
12 Grey
Grey was born as a commoner in the Clover Kingdom. She uses transformation magic to transform herself and others into someone or something else, like when she adopts the likeness of her step-sisters.
Grey also uses transmutation magic, allowing her to disassemble and reassemble matter on a molecular level. This ability is not limited to people but also extends to magic, like when Grey was able to transmute Moris’s magic into plants. She can also use this ability to heal her allies, like when she healed Gauche’s wounds after Dante stabs him.
11 Vanessa Enoteca
The Black Bull’s resident witch, Vanessa, was born in the witch’s forest and was one of the Witch Queen’s favorites. However, after the Witch Queen sees in a prophecy that Vanessa will one day gain control of fate and consequences, she imprisons her to improve her magic. Vanessa is primarily a support character, like how she combined her thread magic and Finral’s teleportation magic to increase Asta’s mobility.
Vanessa can use her powers to cast a spell called the Red Thread of Fate which conjures a red cat that manipulates fate and consequences. This ability is so powerful that when Dante witnesses her use it, he asks her to join his ranks. Unfortunately, the Red Thread of Fate does not work so well against devil-imbued magic as they can manipulate intangible consequences like fate and consequences.
10 Henry Legolant
Henry is the physical embodiment of the term “sleepy head.” He was born into nobility and with an illness that makes him drain the magic of people around him. Henry uses recombination magic to change the size and shape of any object he knows well, like when he transformed the Black Bull house into a giant raging black bull.
In addition, he has used his recombination magic and mana-draining ability to achieve other incredible feats. For example, with the Black Bulls being close to him, Henry created the Ultra Raging Bull, briefly going toe to toe with Lucifero. He also possesses great magical power as he uses it to resist Dante’s gravity magic.
9 Zora Ideale
Zora makes use of trap magic. He uses rune arrays to create traps to restrain his opponents. He can also use these traps to reflect attacks from his opponents. In addition, Zora possesses a high battle IQ, allowing him to develop complex strategies to defeat his opponents. However, one limitation of Zora’s ability is that he needs prep time to create more powerful traps. Zora can still create traps instantaneously, but they may not be as powerful.
Nevertheless, these traps can still work effectively against opponents. Using his more complex trap counter-magic spell, Zora was able to reflect Lucifero’s attack on him two-fold. He can also use ash magic to uncover hidden traps.
8 Secre Swallowtail
Secre was born into nobility, but her family discarded her after they deemed her power useless. Afterward, she was assigned to be the royal servant to the person who would become the first-ever Wizard King. Secre possesses powerful sealing magic which she can use to open and close objects or spells.
She can also use it to seal people or other living beings, like when she used it to seal the devil—Zagred. She can also release people from these seals as long she does not use her ability called Eternal Prison which can seal any living being for centuries. Secre also uses her sealing magic to heal. She can do this by sealing a wound or exhaustion of her allies. Unfortunately, she can only play a supporting role in battles due to her lack of offensive and defensive capabilities.
7 Finral Roulacase
The ladies’ man of the Black Bulls, Finral, is a spatial magic user. He is a member of the House of Vaude, known for its use of spatial magic. Finral, using his magic, can transport people or anything through portals. Not only is he a good transporter, but Finral can also use his abilities to a great extent in battle.
For example, he can transport his teammates around enemies to allow them to get surprise attacks against their opponents, as he did in the fight against Vetto.
Finral’s portals are also not static, as he can launch them toward his opponents and transport them elsewhere. After training in the Heart Kingdom, Finral can use his arrays to increase his speed, allowing him to evade Zenon’s bone whips.
6 Luck Voltia
Luck is a lightning magic wielder and a 5th-class Junior Magic Knight with a sociopathic obsession to fight anyone he comes across. He became an outcast as a result, and it wasn't until he joined the Black Bulls that he genuinely found where he belonged. Luck is an expert lightning magic user who can use it as a projectile or increase his physical attributes. Luck is one of the Black Bulls' most relentless fighters and a great one-on-one combatant.
After training in the Heart Kingdom, Luck can conjure and manipulate natural lightning. He uses this newfound ability to create a new technique to cover his entire body in natural lightning. He uses this technique to defeat Megicula, a member of the Dark Triad.
5 Charmy Pappitson
As a dwarf-human hybrid and 1st Class Junior Magic Knight, Charmy Pappitson can use two types of magic. She possesses food magic, which she discovered following her fight with the Magic Knight Captain of the Aqua Deer, who was under the influence of a demon. She can make cotton and devour sheep to defend herself. She can summon any other magic and replenish her magic.
Due to her mastery of two distinct forms of magic, Charmy is incredibly adaptable and dangerous. In addition, she has such a large mana reserve that even an elf was terrified of her might.
4 Noelle Silva
The primary heroine of Black Clover is Noelle Silva. She is a noblewoman, a member of Black Clover's royal family, and the second daughter of the House Silva. Noelle is an expert in water magic and possesses great magical strength. Although her attacks frequently lack precision and accuracy, she shows strong determination in the series to grow stronger.

Nacht is a host to four different devils and possesses an astonishingly potent form of shadow magic which allows him to blend into any object's or person's shadow and give his sleuthing abilities a perfect 10 rating. Nacht can also immobilize or restrain people using shadows. He was successful as a spy in the Spade Kingdom for a significant period, thanks to the features of his shadow magic.
2 Asta
Asta is the main protagonist in Black Clover, who dreams of becoming the wizard king one day. However, there is one small problem—Asta was born without the ability to use magic. Despite this setback, Asta is a First-class Senior Magic Knight who carries four anti-magic swords from his rare five-leaf clover grimoire. Asta also boasts extreme physical strength, arguably the strongest character in the Black Clover universe.
Along with this insane strength, he can also figure out where opponents are on the battlefield without seeing them by using Ki. the story develops, we see Asta hone his skills and pull off incredible feats against insurmountable obstacles. Asta has a powerful demon form that he could use to defeat the devil king Lucifero.
1 Yami Sukehiro
Standing at 183cm tall, Yami is the Black Bull’s captain and strongest member. He is a member of the Hino Country's Yami Clan. Yami is a quick and adept swordsman. He is also incredibly physically strong and is skilled in dark magic, which he uses to coat his "katana." Through his dark magic, Yami can generate and manipulate darkness, using the element to cut through space itself. For example, Yami could kill Veto of the Third Eye using his Dark Cloaked Dimension Slash-Equinox spell on him.
Yami can also use his dark magic to pull in and nullify other types of magic, especially light magic, giving him anti-magic abilities to a certain extent. Above all, due to his magic being able to transcend space, he can affect other dimensions, such as the underworld.
