Black Adam debuted its first preview a while back during the virtual DC FanDome event and fans were pleased with what they saw. Now, producer Hiram Garcia has teased a potential crossover with Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam and Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman in an upcoming DC project.

During the teaser trailer for Black Adam, the titular character appeared on the screen with the iconic black and gold logo, bulletproof skin, and the much-needed magical lighting bolt. The teaser for Black Adam showed the gruesome killing of a mercenary, which suggests the film won't be lighthearted and will be more in the dark realm that DC is known for.

During the premiere for Red Notice (another film starring Johnson), Garcia spoke with Variety about what fans can expect for the upcoming DC superhero film. "[It's] big and it's a lot of fun...it's got a lot of edge to it, and I think the world is ready... When we do something like this, we're looking at the entire DC Universe as a whole because with our movie, not only do we introduce Black Adam, but we introduce several characters." The other heroes Garcia is referring to are the Justice Society of America (JSA), who will be debuting in this film for their first live-action appearance in the current DCEU continuity. Hawkman and Doctor Fate are a few of the heroes who will be making an appearance.

When asked if Johnson could reunite with his Red Notice co-star Gadot as Black Adam and Wonder Woman, respectively, Garcia seemed certain it could happen. "We gotta see them together somehow, so we're working on it," Garcia said. "Wonder Woman and Black Adam sharing the screen would be pretty awesome, and I honestly feel like Wonder Woman is one of the few superheroes that can go toe-to-toe with Black Adam."

Having these two return on the screen would be a cool sight for fans. It would also be cool to see these two powerful characters clash in a DC live-action film. Wonder Woman holds her own against many of the titans in the DC comic books, so it's no surprise that she can go toe-to-toe with Johnson's Black Adam.

Right now, fans are eager to see more of the Black Adam film. The movie has only released one teaser, so fans are only able to speculate. Hopefully, the film will deliver on its promises and leave fans wanting more in a good way.

Black Adam is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 29, 2022.
