BitLife: Doom & Gloom Challenge Tasks

bitlife doom & gloom challenge tasks

To complete this weekly live challenge, players need to finish five tasks:

  1. Start an armageddon cult in Florida.
  2. Own a compound.
  3. Own 10+ SUVs.
  4. Construct a fallout shelter and armory.
  5. Have a following of 50,000+ people.

Start an Armageddon Cult in Florida

To complete this task, players need to create a new custom character and choose to reside in the United States. Next, select from Jacksonville, Orlando, Miami or Tampa to be born in Florida. Once they’re born, age the character up till they are at least 18 years old.

Players can only start a cult and complete this challenge if they have purchased the Cult Expansion Pack which costs $4.99.

  • When it comes to starting a cult, players need to have lots of money and fame. This can be easily accomplished by getting part-time jobs early on or doing freelance gigs. They need to save up around $1M to purchase land and start a cult.
  • Once they’ve got the money, players can click on the Activities tab and select the Commune option. Next, buy a Compound. Doing so will automatically complete task #2 for the Doom & Gloom challenge.
  • After they’ve chosen their plot, players can pick their cult’s name, set its Philosophy to Armageddon, and follow the steps to create the cult.

Own 10+ SUVs

The next step to complete BitLife's Doom & Gloom challenge is to purchase ten or more SUVs. Once they’ve started the Armageddon cult, players can earn profits through merchandise and collect an annual fee from their followers. Over time, they’ll start earning millions and can use the money to buy SUVs.

To do so, head to the Assets tab, click on Go Shopping, and pick a Car Dealer. Next, choose an SUV from their catalog and buy ten such cars throughout your life.

Construct a Fallout Shelter and Armory

To be a proper Armageddon cult, players need to construct a Fallout Shelter and Armory. It would cost a hefty sum of money, but BitLife players can ask their followers for funds to build these structures.

To start the construction, click on the Activities tab and access the Commune. Next, select the Compound and click on the Construct option. Select the Fallout Shelter and Armory from the list and pay the amount to build them.

If players don’t find the options to construct these structures, they can either restart their BitLife app or choose to Age Up to the next year. Doing so refreshes the list and adds a new set of building options.

Amass a Following of 50,000+ People

The Doom & Gloom challenge’s final task is to gain a following of more than 50,000 people. This can be done in quite a few ways. Players can increase their following count by hosting activities and interacting with their followers to keep them happy and loyal. They can keep promoting the Armageddon Cult through the Global Outreach program and take part in various activities.

Keep hosting recruitment events and, over time, you’ll naturally gain enough followers to complete the Doom & Gloom challenge.
