The gameplay of Biomutant often encourages the use of ranged weapons. Some of the best builds in the game belong under the ranged combat category, which makes the game absolutely delightful for those who are fans of this play style. On top of that, the game also offers a wide array of incredible ranged weapons players can use.

While some of the best weapons in Biomutant are the ones that players can craft themselves, there is also a wide range of weapons they can pick up from the game via loot or as rewards from side quests. These weapons can take time and effort to unlock, but they are all worth it for what they provide.

8 Myriad Tribe Boomerang

Myriad Boomerang

The Myriad Tribe Boomerang has an unremarkable fire rate. However, what the weapon lacks in that aspect, it makes up for in accuracy and damage. On top of that, this ranged weapon also comes with its own Wung-Fu abilities, since it is a tribe weapon.

To earn the Myriad Tribe Boomerang, the player must side with the Myriad tribe and conquer three of its rival's forts. Conversely, they can side with their rival tribe, the Jagni, and conquer Myriad instead to get their hands on it.

7 Lotus Shuriken

Lotus Shuriken

The Lotus Shuriken is another tribe weapon that players can acquire in Biomutant. This particular item is by far one of the game's most unique under the ranged category. Its fire rate is ridiculously fast, and the weapon makes the gameplay very fast-paced and exciting.

The Lotus Shuriken is the tribe weapon of the Lotus tribe. Similarly to the Myriad Boomerang, this weapon can only be earned by joining the Lotus tribe and conquering the forts of its rival, or by joining its rival tribe and conquering Lotus instead.

6 Netra Tribe Grabbler

Netra Tribe Grabbler

The Netra Tribe Grabbler may be a ranged weapon, but it is the perfect choice to complement melee builds. Its function is unconventional, but also very effective. This weapon allows players to grab enemies from afar and pull them towards the player, allowing them to strike with their melee weapon.

This unique ranged weapon belongs to the Netra tribe. Those who find the function of this weapon interesting can earn it by joining the Netra tribe, or joining its direct rival.

5 Ankati Bow

The Ankati's tribe weapon is the only ranged weapon in Biomutant that is a bow, which makes it perfect for those who love this type of weapon. Being the only one of its variety doesn't make it subpar either, as this weapon is absolutely powerful once the player gets the hang of it. Its fire rate and accuracy are high, and it has a very decent range and reload speed as well.

Like every single tribe weapon in the game, the Ankati Bow has a dedicated set of Wung-Fu abilities. It can be acquired by siding with the Ankati tribe or with its rival tribe.

4 Hyprozapper Ozarhypro

The Hyprozapper Ozarhypro is an incredibly powerful automatic rifle. It has a very high accuracy rate, decent range, and fire rate. It also has a 6% critical chance and it deals radioactive damage; however, its armor pierce isn't the best in the game. This weapon comes with the Dynamo ability. This incredible perk will have the weapon's damage increase by 10% for every 4 meters distance between the target and the player.

To get this weapon, the player must complete the Unwell Place Vault side quest. This side quest will unlock after the player defeats the Emergent Bulgtusk at Sludgegush Fields.

3 Contagion Flurpskruckis

Gun users will enjoy the Contagion Flurpskruckis. This unique ranged weapon, although limited with its short range, is incredibly hefty with its high accuracy, decent fire range, and armor pierce. It also has a 6% critical chance. A magazine mod can be placed on this weapon, which will increase its accuracy and reload speed.

The best trait of this weapon comes from its perk, the Missile Cloud. With this perk, auto-tracking missiles will fire at enemies after every four shots, making this weapon even more devastating. This weapon can be earned by completing the Fume Foundry Vault quest.

2 Sparkatron Hypicskromp

The Sparkatron Hypicskromp is an electrifying rifle that will surely send enemies into a frenzy. This unique weapon deals electricity damage, which makes it perfect for mage builds, ranged builds, and especially those who are looking to merge both. This weapon has high accuracy, but its range, fire rate, and armor pierce are subpar. Thankfully, Magazine, Top Mod, and Stock mods can be installed into this weapon to make it more powerful.

This weapon can be picked up at the Suburbia Vault. To get the key to this vault, the player will first need to talk to Moog and do his side quests. In one of these quests, the player will come face to face with Schacky Trunkgnut, who will drop the key to the vault that houses the weapon upon his defeat.

1 Scatterskrek Lukspewbor

The Scatterskrek Lukspewbor is arguably the best ranged weapon in Biomutant. This weapon is a rifle, which means its fire rate is not something to write home about. However, it does have a high accuracy rate, decent reload speed, and a 12% critical chance, one of the best in the game.

To get the Scatterskrek Lukspewbor, the player must first head to Anywhere to speak to Klick. They must then do this NPC's side quest to earn the key to Bangshelter 5D. The weapon can be found inside this vault.
