With a huge amount of information flying around regarding E3 2021, gamers are often finding themselves succumbing to fake leaks and misinformation. However, a new set of leaked announcements for E3 2021 may be reliable, as it comes from a source that has made accurate predictions for the event in the past, as well as having one game from its list of predictions announced at E3 already.
E3 is certainly an exciting time for video game fans, however, the deluge of information regarding new announcements at E3 can often make it difficult to discern which information is reliable. Leaks are a huge part of the hype surrounding the event and despite many leakers bringing forward information from reliable channels, it isn't uncommon for internet denizens to pretend to be verified sources or create content that looks real enough to be accepted as such, as in the case of a recent fake Elden Ring leak.
Redditor PracticalBrush12 has posted a long list of titles that they are predicting will be unveiled at E3, in a post titled "Brushie's Practical Predictions." Brushie's E3 prediction list includes nearly 60 different games, with predictions including announcements for Rainbow 6 Extraction, Diablo 2 Remaster, Outer Worlds 2, Forza Horizon 5, and Age of Empires 4. There are also mentions of Stellaris coming to consoles and new content for Among Us being announced at E3.
PracticalBrush does point out that these are just predictions for E3 2021, and to take the post "with a grain of salt." However, considering this user has a habit of making accurate predictions, as well as the fact that Doki Doki Literature Club Plus was announced at the IGN Expo after appearing on Brushie's list, it seems that this list could be a bona fide leak. PracticalBrush did also state that "From the legal point of view" they were just making predictions, perhaps confirming that the information they were handing out was sensitive.
If this list of leaks is accurate then it would spell an exciting E3 for gamers, with a huge amount of big titles among the supposed announcements. Certain games listed by Brushie have had no previous information revealed about them, such as Mario + Rabbids Sparks ofHope, an alleged sequel to 2017's Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. The Outer Worlds 2 and Forza 5 are both surprised sequels as well, meaning that while fans might have kept their expectations low for their favorite title receiving a sequel this year, E3 may just have a few aces up its sleeve.
