Hines originally joined Bethesda in 1999 as a member of the marketing team, contributing to the studio's public relations efforts for the original Fallout series. In 2001, Hines would become the vice president of PR and leading marketing efforts for games such as The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion and Rage. He continued to climb the ranks at Bethesda in the past two decades and became the senior vice president of global marketing and communications.

Losi is a key figure throughout the history of Bethesda alongside Hines. She joined Bethesda in 2005 as the senior manager of PR and marketing. Losi became director of marketing in 2017 and earned Hines' former position as senior vice president of global marketing in 2019. Both of the long-tenured industry veterans would help lead marketing campaigns for major Bethesda games such as Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. Bethesda's global marketing efforts will be led by the two in an executive capacity, and Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer believes the Bethesda brand will continue to flourish under this leadership.

Hines is synonymous with Bethesda due to his public appearances just like Bethesda executive producer Todd Howard. Bethesda's global marketing efforts allows the company to reach more players, and Hines is experienced enough to lead the division to great success. Upcoming games such as Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6 may benefit greatly with Hines's marketing expertise.

However, it's also up to Bethesda as a whole to impress players with the content and scope of its games. Expectations for Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6 continue to rise as time passes as well. Although The Elder Scrolls 6 is years away from launching, Bethesda's marketing efforts may ensure a successful title in the future.
