Needless to say, Xbox Game Pass subscribers interested in these games should make sure to play them while they still can. And considering how Chained Echoes stands head and shoulders above those games in terms of critical reception, it's one that fans may want to prioritize especially.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers have a couple of weeks before Chained Echoes is removed from the service, which should be just enough time to finish it if they play it a lot. Depending on how much side content one does, beating Chained Echoes could take anywhere from 30 to 50 hours. While it may mean logging in some long play sessions, those that want to do so should be able to complete Chained Echoes before it's removed from the Game Pass service.
As far as JRPG-style games go, it's been a rough time for Xbox Game Pass as of late. Not only is Chained Echoes set to be removed from the service soon, but Persona 5 left Xbox Game Pass just recently as well. On the bright side, some fresh JRPG-style experiences have been added to the mix recently too, like the critically-acclaimed Sea of Stars, for instance. Plus, there's more to look forward to on the horizon, like Persona 3 Reload in February.
Even if one misses the boat on playing Chained Echoes through Xbox Game Pass, fans can rest assured that the game is worth the price of admission.
