Amongst the various features available in the game, there are dozens of types of creatures in Temtem, a very versatile archetype are the kings of the sky, wind type Temtems. For players that enjoy the speed and agileness of birds and flying reptiles, here are some of the best wind-type Temtems in the game.

6 Wiplump

Having both the Wind and Water subtypes, Wiplump is an excellent all-around Temtem with high SPATK and SPDEF along with reasonably high STA as well; Having a fascinating design, Wiplump is a small dragon-like creature with blue skin, a red horn, and a pair of wings made out of clouds.

Wiplump is the final evolution of Fomu, who transforms at level twenty. Thanks to its impressive speed and its Plethoric trait that boosts its speed even higher, Wiplump would serve well as the offensive partner to a more tanky Temtem. While Wiplump is not extremely rare, Wiplump can be found near Sillaro River in Deniz, Kakakma Cenote in Ducma, and the Highbelow located in Cipanku. Players may find locating Fomu and leveling it to evolution easier.

5 Granpah

Granpah is the third evolved form of Paharo; its design is modeled after a large fowl with red feathers and green ones around its head. Granpah has high SPD and high SPATK stats making it a powerful attacker for an offensive team; A possible trait for Granpah is Bully, which significantly raises its technique damage when outnumbering the opponent's team by forty percent.

Like a few other Temtem within the game, Granpah can not be found in the wild and can only be obtained by evolving Paharo through its entire chain. However, However, Paharo’s are relatively easy to encounter as they are common in Deniz roaming near the Prasine Coast, the Thallasian Cliffs, and the Gifted Bridges.

4 Gazuma

Gazuma is an electric wind type and the evolved form of Ganki; its design is similar to a bumblebee with large horns and extended wings draped over its body like a cloak. Gazuma has very high SPATK and SPDEF but sufferers considerably with one of the lowest base health stats in the game. Thanks to Gazuma’s possible traits, it makes a very good support when part of a team; the Receptive trait especially as it can extend the duration of beneficial effects of positive status effects. Gazuma is a rare find as it only roams near Matope Road in Kisiwa and the Pillars of Highabove in Cinpaku Island.

3 Barnshe

Barnshe is equal parts interesting combination and design; having both the mental and wind type, Barnshe is a solid addition to a team that specializes in rushing down targets with damage. Barnshe has above-average SPD, SPATK, and SPDEF base stats and has some pretty amazing techniques once appropriately leveled; Barnshe's trait, Air specialist, provides a sizable damage boost to all wind techniques.

Barnshe is the evolved form of Towly; in its matured form, Barnshe strikes a dramatic pose with Pink feathers and a white face. Barnshe is a rare Temtem and it only roams in Winward Fort in Deniz and Mac Aed’s Crag in Arbury.

2 Tuvine

Tuvine is a crystal wind type Temtem that is green in color, has a similar appearance to a tucan with green feathers, and is covered in crystal with an armored beak and head-fin. Turbine excels as a tanky partner able to shield itself with protective effects and boosting the duration of positive effects placed on it.

With a high SPDEF stat Turbine is sure to be able to soak up a lot of damage, especially once it gets its Diamond Fort technique. Turbine is the evolution form of Tuwai and can not be found in the wild; players will have to find a Tuwai and level it up on their tamer journey. Tuwai can be found in several locations, most notably Dabmis Rest in Deniz and Aisha’s Hearth in Kisiwa.

1 Volarend

Volarend is a toxic wind Temtem; its design is a rather large bird with purple and cyan-colored feathers. Volarend had average overall stats, with only its SPDEF standing out; however, where Volarend shines is in its list of techniques that can bestow adverse effects on its targets. Venomous Claw, Cold Breeze, and Toxic Plume are all strong techniques that can drain the life from a strong team with effects like Poison and Freezing. While Volarend is the evolution form of Zephyruff, it can still be found in the wild, although very rare. Players should search Kupeleleza in Tucma and the Kelima Peaks in Kisiwa Island.
