6 Lightning - Final Fantasy

Lightning made her debut in 2009 with the titular installment of the lightning saga - Final Fantasy 13. Although the game is not a direct sequel to any of the main games, the subseries saw her story woven into a solid central character.

An orphan at an early age, Claire Farron took on the name and role of Lightning, promising herself to be stronger and take the challenge against all evil. Her calm and apathetic demeanor made her the perfect fit for the Guardian Corps and quickly saw her rise to higher ranks. As a result, she is considered the second most important female character in the entire Final Fantasy series.
