Playdead's Inside, which has an "Overwhelmingly Positive" rating on Steam, is currently discounted by a whopping 90%. This is a great deal for those who haven't tried out the moody indie game yet, being one of the lowest prices that the game has seen on PC. This deal is only available for a limited time on Steam, so fans have little time to take advantage of it.

Inside is a 2D puzzle platformer that was developed by acclaimed studio Playdead. Inside is a successor to the studio's previous title, Limbo, which had a similar gameplay mechanics. While Limbo was conveyed with 2D monochrome sprites, Inside uses 3D models and colors contrasting a sterile and minimalist art style. Both games from Playdead were received extremely well upon release, and are still looked upon highly.

As seen on Inside's Steam page, the atmospheric puzzle platformer is getting a massive 90% discount, which matches the previous low that it had been discounted for last year in September. This discount will be available starting today, with the deal ending later this week on March 16, 2023. What was originally a $19.99 game is now only $2 USD, making it a massive steal and a great opportunity for players to try out the game with it being so low.

The deal is also applied to Inside's predecessor Limbo, where it has a similar 90% price cut that sees it going from $10 to only one dollar. If players haven't experienced either game yet, then there is a bundle that packages both of them together, which offers an additional 10% off, making the two games together roughly $2.70 USD.

In terms of what's next for indie developer Playdead, there isn't much known regarding the studio's next game. The only aspects known is that it shall use a third-person perspective in a 3D environment and that it will be using Unreal Engine 5. If fans want to look towards other games that are similar to Playdead's last two games, there is Cocoon, a game that was created by the same gameplay designer, Jeppe Carlsen. There is also the Xbox console exclusive puzzle platformer Sommerville, developed by Jumpship, who has former Playdead CEO Dino Patti as one of its founders.

Inside is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
