Fallout is one of the most popular video game IPs of all time, starting out as a CRPG that became incredibly popular because of its humorous writing before transforming into one of the most popular open-world titles of all time after Bethesda's acquisition. The games are truly marvelous, set after the events of a nuclear war that has devastated most of the American continent into nothing more than a glorified wasteland.

The games following Bethesda's acquisition of the Fallout IP have all featured some great radio stations that are full to the brim with old-school bangers that players love bobbing their heads to while exploring the wastelands featured in each game. The selection of tunes and the wacky RJ in each radio station are pretty iconic in their own right and make it clear why Fallout fans love the radios present in each game, making the setting feel all the more authentic.

5 Radio New Vegas (Fallout: New Vegas)

Best Atom Punk Games- Fallout New Vegas

Many people argue that Fallout: New Vegas has the best stations in the entire game, although that's mainly got to do with the fact that the quality of the game's writing itself is so high that it elevates the rest of the title to a whole new level. There's no denying that the tunes present in Radio New Vegas are the most catchy of the bunch, and it helps that the RJ is as charismatic as they come.

Of course, as is the case with most radio stations in the Fallout games, the repeated voice lines can become rather hard to digest after a point. However, this is a pretty minor complaint in what is otherwise a truly awesome game. Players can always switch over to a different radio station if they want, anyway.

4 Galaxy News Radio (Fallout 3)

Fallout 3: Tenpenny Tower

Fallout 3 was a massive step ahead for the franchise, making the title more mainstream than ever before. Despite the many issues that players had with the writing present in this game, there's no denying that the switch to a dense 3D open world was much welcomed by fans, with Fallout becoming more mainstream than ever before.

Galaxy News Radio is easily one of the best stations that players can switch to in any Fallout game, with Three Dog cementing his place as one of the greatest RJs in gaming history. Hearing him talk about the Lone Wanderer's exploits make for a great time, and it's clear why so many people hold Fallout 3 near and dear to their heart despite the mental gymnastics that are required to accept the logic behind the game's ending.

3 Diamond City Radio (Fallout 4)

There are many fans who were disappointed by how Fallout 4 tried to reinvent the formula and attract casual fans to the franchise. In an attempt to do so, the studio ended up alienating most of its hardcore fans, who hated the idea of controlling a voiced protagonist, interacting with gimped dialogue choices, and having to level up their character with a perk system that is a noticeable step backward in so many ways.

However, there are moments when this game shines really bright, and a great example of this is the various memorable settlements scattered across the game world. The radio stations are also pretty decent in their own right, with Diamond City Radio. Travis Miles is a decent RJ in his own right, although many people feel that he pales in comparison to the sheer entertainment factor brought about by the RJs from other games,

2 Mojave Music Radio (Fallout: New Vegas)

The ambient soundtrack of New Vegas is pretty great in its own right, switching from soothing, dulcet tones to combat-heavy music in the blink of an eye. While this ambiance should certainly be appreciated in its own right, there are times when players just want to listen to some good old tunes while exploring the Mojave.

The Mojave Music Radio is perfect in this regard, providing an uninterrupted stream of great music that fans love to listen to. While Mr. New Vegas is very entertaining to listen to in his own right, there's something to be said about listening to a wealth of great music without any breaks as players get lost in the amazing world of New Vegas.

1 Agatha's Station (Fallout 3)

There are some stations that are tied to questlines in the Fallout series, with some of them being axed after players complete said quest. However, there are some instances where completing a quest actually leads to the restoration of a station in the game, and this can be experienced if players decide to help out Agatha and find a rare violin called the Soil Stradivarius.

Players find this instrument by heading to Vault 92, following which they can either sell this instrument for a few measly caps or give it back to Agatha. Suffice it to say, doing the latter is the right thing to do, and players will love the benefit of being able to hear Agatha's melodious classical tunes on their Pip-Boy after seeing this quest to completion.
