The isekai genre has taken the world of anime and manga by storm, with the majority of fans having a general understanding of what a typical isekai series will entail. In an isekai series, characters will either have found themselves reincarnated as a different living thing or simply transported to a completely different world.

In most series, the main characters who end up reincarnated usually have to figure out their situations all by themselves. But in other cases, such as in this handful of anime and manga, these main characters are side-by-side with their siblings as they take on a whole new world of wonder and mystery together.

6 No Game No Life

Sora And Shiro Play Some Games

One of the more popular isekai anime, No Game No Life may not strike fans as an isekai series since the characters are not reincarnated into anything. However, the series still retains the main plot point of the main characters being transported into another world.

Sora and Shiro, the main characters of the series, are not blood siblings, but they are well-known for their collaborative skills under the collective alias Blank. Initially bored with the "crappy game" they call their life, the pair are suddenly transported to the world of Disboard, where each problem can be solved with a quick and easy game.

Released in 2020. Tanaka Family Reincarnates presents one of the more unique cases of reincarnation within the isekai genre. Instead of a single person or siblings, this manga sees an entire family getting reincarnated into different people altogether, though they still retain knowledge of their past lives.

The family in question would be the Tanaka family, all of whom are best known for their love of cats. After the entire family is tragically killed in a massive earthquake, they suddenly find themselves reincarnated as the Stuart family. From there, the Stuart family must grow accustomed to their new lives in a Western environment.

Unlike Tanaka Family Reincarnates, Isekai Omotenashi Gohan sticks to having a pair of siblings get transported to another world alongside their pet dog. Still, the new world presents great change for Akane and Hiyori Takahashi, the siblings around whom this manga is centered.

Prior to discovering another world, Akane lived a typical life as an office worker while taking care of Hiyori in place of their late parents. After being summoned to a different world, however, Hiyori suddenly finds herself taking on the role of a priestess while Akane takes it upon herself to prepare her meals.

Upon finding themselves in Caesarion, Maya takes it upon herself to be Asahi's partner as they explore the world in which they have found themselves. Along the way, however, Maya develops a romantic interest in Asahi, who finds her advances more disturbing than the monsters and villains that antagonize them at every turn.

Unlike most isekai anime on this list, the main protagonist of The World of Otome Games is Tough For Mobs, Leon Fou Bartfort, is not reincarnated at the same time as his sister Marie. However, Leon still receives some indirect help from Marie by putting everything she taught him about her favorite otome game to good use.

Having been reincarnated into his sister's favorite otome game as a completely new person, Leon finds himself in a matriarchal society as he learns to live with his new family and become an adventurer. Upon Marie's reincarnation into the same game, the two decide to team up and live their lives in their new environment.

1 Did You Think You Could Run After Reincarnating, Nii-san?

In some form or another, the yandere archetype is presented in any genre of anime, with the isekai genre definitely being no exception. In this case, the main yandere takes the form of the main protagonist's little sister, who excitedly tortured the hero in bizarre ways and even mutilated anyone who tried to get close to him! Needless to say, this little sister is very possessive, even by normal yandere standards.

After a disastrous car accident kills the hero and his entire family, he suddenly finds himself reincarnated as Jack Lieber, a newborn son of a noble family who already has the ability to make himself and other objects float. Upon learning that his sister has also reincarnated with him, Jack takes it upon himself to protect his new family from his sister with his powers, but he instead gets the scare of his life upon realizing that his sister has been reincarnated as the family maid Anelli Lieber.
