The player can speed around as a rat in a box car and encounter the different tracks and environmental obstacles in order to race their way around the track and to the finish line.
While this game is in early access, the developers are gunning for 8 total tracks and 8 different cars that the players can use. Even in early access, the player can become the ultimate racer to represent all rats.
6 New York Rat Simulator
In New York, an area known for its stellar sights and food, the player can become the iconic New York street rat in New York Rat Simulator by Firebug Games. This game features a hustling and bustling New York City simulation as the playground for the rat player who is imbued with unnatural jumping abilities and the ability to grow dog-sized.
While this game is also still in early access, there is a ton of havoc to be brought by the player through growing huge and disrupting New Yorkers' daily lives.
5 The Spirit And The Mouse
While not namely a rat game, The Spirit And The Mouse by Alblune also features running around in order to help the floating spirits around the small village of Sainte-et-Claire. This adventure-based game follows the player as Lila, a small mouse with a big heart as she seeks to restore the balance of her beloved village after a storm upset the spirits and electricity in the area.
With special electrifying powers, the player can scurry their way into the villagers’ hearts in this wholesome and relaxing game.

Bad Rats: The Rats’ Revenge by Invent4 Entertainment is a game based on the feud between rats and cats. In this physics puzzle game, the rats can develop unique solutions for each puzzle using functional objects, physics, and specially trained (and cat-hating) rats.

Ghost Of A Tale by developer SeithCG is an action-roleplaying game where the player moves as Tilo, who is both a mouse and a minstrel. In this game where the inhabitants are other animals in a medieval world, the player must use stealth, disguise, and cunning in order to explore the world to find Merra, Tilo’s beloved.
The game features large enemies compared to Tilo, who is not much of a fighter, therefore the player must rely on their own scurry and wit to navigate dangerous situations. The player can see the beautiful and atmospheric world through Tilo’s eyes on their quest for finding true love.
1 BonBon
BonBon, by Aetheric Games, is a bite-sized first-person domestic horror game. In this narrative-driven horror, the player plays as a toddler living through their childhood picking up toys and carrying things, all in the company of a gigantic and hungry rat named BonBon.
This game is meant to be played in a single sitting and has a symbolic and metaphoric narrative surrounding the ambiguous and selfish rat presence the player must deal with. This domestic horror game will engage the player and have them looking over their shoulder for a mysterious rat presence.
