Due to its bad reputation, the most feature-dense edition of the game, Anthem: Legion of Dawn Edition, has dropped below $5 during a lot of sales, even dropping under $1.50 in January 2023. Players who enjoy The First Descendant and have never tried Anthem should consider picking up the game the next time they see it at such a low price for such a high-value experience.

While its world setting is more akin to an alternate version of our own reality, it does just as good a job of making players stop for a moment to take in the beautifully crafted world setting. While it is a first-person shooter instead of a third-person one, Destiny 2 shares a lot of common ground with The First Descendant — and not just in their sci-fi world settings. It delivers a story-driven campaign that can be enjoyed with allies on one's side and has tons of lore for players really looking to get invested in the game's world.
