Tara Strong is a Canadian actress known for her iconic voice acting roles, especially in cartoons. Tara started her acting career in Toronto, Canada, at the age of 13 years old, and landed her first role as Hello Kitty in the animated series of the same name.
Since then, Tara has appeared in many movies, TV shows, and musical theater plays. She even got the opportunity to voice video game characters such as Harley Quinn in Batman: Arkham Knight in 2015. However, she is mostly recognized by 90s and 2000s kids, as she lent her unique voice to many of their beloved cartoon characters over the years.
7 All Grown Up!: Dil Pickles (2003-2008)
All Grown Up is a Rugrats spinoff and follows the story of Tommy and his friends as they enter their teenage years. The gang gets to struggle with things like acne, first boyfriends and girlfriends, and first jobs, all the while juggling Middle School.
Tara Strong plays Dil Pickles, Tommy's younger brother. He's nine years old in the cartoon and loves anything related to aliens. Known to be a weirdo himself, he likes to dress in non-matching clothes, invent weird contraptions, and talk in code so no one can understand him.
6 Loki: Miss Minutes (2021-Present)
The God and villain of mischief, Loki, stars in this Marvel and Disney series. Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston, finally has a chance to shine when he escapes the Avengers with the Tesseract in the movie Avengers: Endgame. However, his freedom is brief as he soon gets captured by the TVA (The Time Variance Authority) and must do something for them if he wants to survive.
Tara Strong plays the cartoon character Miss Minutes in this action series. Miss Minutes is an Artificial Intelligent mascot for the TVA, and she talks about the organization to all of its workers. She is a big part of the propaganda.
5 Ben 10: Ben Tennyson (2016-2021)
Ben 10 is a cartoon about a 10-year-old boy named Ben, who discovers a watch-like device with a hidden ability while out on a cross-country road trip with his grandpa and cousin, Gwen. This watch is known as the Omnitrix, and it allows Ben to transform into ten different aliens and gain their extraterrestrial superpowers, which he uses for good.
Ben 10 was extremely popular among kids back then, which is why fans were rewarded with a reboot in 2016. Ben, voiced by Tara, often gets into mischief, but as he becomes older, he takes his job more seriously and helps to protect his planet from various bad guys.
4 Teen Titans (2003-2006) & Teen Titans Go! (2013-Present): Raven
Teen Titans was an iconic cartoon among kids in the 2000s. The show was about Robin, Batman's sidekick, who formed his team with Starfire, Raven, Cyborg, and Beast Boy to protect their city from crimes and villains. The show got rebooted in 2013 due to popular demand, though this time with a different plot. Although the Titans still fight crimes in Teen Titan Go!, fans get to see a more relatable side to the characters as they struggle with tasks from their everyday lives as well as fight their usual enemies.
In both series, Tara Strong plays the dark and mysterious Raven, a human and demon hybrid. The sarcastic and moody character was and still is a fan favorite among many of the show's fan base, along with Starfire.
3 Rugrats: Dil Pickles (1991-2004)
Rugrats was a classic 90s cartoon that many Millennials watched as young kids. The story focuses on the life of a baby named Tommy Pickles and is explored through his perspective as he goes on many adventures with his friends.
Tara voices Dil, Tommy's younger brother, who got introduced to fans in the 1998 film, Rugrats The Movie. Dil is only a few months old in the series and often follows the gang around. Although he is a lot younger than them, Tommy and his friends try to involve him in their mischief as much as they can.
2 Fairly Odd Parents: Timmy Turner (2001-2017)
Most late 90s and early 2000s kids loved the Fairly Odd Parents. The story was about Timmy Turner, a ten-year-old boy who gets bullied by his babysitter, Vicki, and by some other kid named Francis at his school. His parents are oblivious and too self-involved to notice how unhappy their child is, so Timmy gets magical fairy godparents. These fairies, Wanda and Cosmo, are there to grant any of his wishes and make his life better.
The talented Tara Strong is the one who voices the proud, selfish and arrogant Timmy Turner. Although the boy often makes mistakes, he learns from them and eventually grows to become more aware of others and their feelings.
1 The Powerpuff Girls: Bubbles (1998-2005)
The Powerpuff Girls defined a whole generation of kids and teens in the late 90s and early 2000s. The cartoon was about three sisters, Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, who were accidentally created in a lab by Professor Utonium. The girls got blessed with superpowers, which they then use to fight crime. They are constantly saving their town from evildoers like Mojo Jojo.
Tara Strong voices Bubbles, the cute one among the three, while Blossom is the leader, and Buttercup is the tough and rebellious one. Bubbles is also very emotional, and she constantly brings joy and laughter to her surroundings.
