Berserk is one of the most popular seinen series of all time. It was created by the legendary Kentarou Miura, who unfortunately passed away in 2021. Many fans believed that Berserk would not continue after his death, but it was later announced that Kouji Mori would take over.

There are still tons of mysteries in the series, and readers will be hoping that Mori does justice to this great work of literature. One thing that everyone will be waiting for is the final fight between Guts and Griffith. After the events of the Eclipse, Guts has harbored a great deal of animosity toward his former friend. Considering the series is getting closer to its end, the question of how Guts will overcome his enemy still looms large. So, this list delves into possible methods that Guts can use to beat Griffith.

4 By Using The Power Of The Behelit

Guts holding the Behelit

Guts despises apostles for all the right reasons. They have taken away many things that were precious to him. Guts has stated multiple times that he would never fall to the same level as them, which is why he keeps putting his own body on the line to defeat them. Guts lost his arm in the eclipse, but that didn't quell his hatred; instead, it only fanned it further.

He attached a cannon to his left hand and began hunting apostles. While Guts' physical strength is very impressive, he cannot compete with someone like Griffith. He did receive the Berserker Armor, but it isn't enough either. At best, Guys can defeat Griffith's generals in combat.

However, there is one more thing that Guts could use— the Behelit. Guts found the Behelit after he slaughtered one of the apostles. For now, he hasn't used it, but if things continue to worsen, there is a good chance that he will use it. There are many theories regarding how Guts will utilize it, and the most popular one states that he will somehow feed the Behelit to his Dragon Slayer. This idea is interesting and more believable as Guts does not want to lose his humanity.

3 Griffith Loses Some of His Power

Griffith

Griffith is a member of the God Hand, which makes him one of the strongest characters in the series. Prior to the eclipse, Griffith was among the best swordsmen in the series. With his elegant swordsmanship, Griffith was able to overwhelm opponents who were much bigger than him. In addition to his swordsmanship, Griffith was also an apt military leader. Under his leadership, the Band of Hawk rose to prominence in a short period of time. They went from a ragtag bunch to being knighted by the King of Midland.

His transformation into Femto during the eclipse only increased his power. After being reborn, Griffith was able to manipulate gravity and space. Griffith's control over these two abilities enabled him to dodge all kinds of attacks and deflect them back at his opponent. Considering the powers that he has access to, it would be impossible for Guts to take him down in his current form. So, the story would require Griffith to lose some of his powers in one way or another.

2 Guts Is Helped By Others

Guts and his entire group

From the beginning, Guts was a recluse. He preferred to fight his own battles instead of relying on the help of others. Guts' self-reliance was created by the immense amount of trauma that he suffered when he was just a kid. His adoptive father, Gambino, played a major role in traumatizing him.

Guts grew up hating everyone, and it wasn't until he met Griffith and the Band of Hawk that he managed to change. Guts met many good people, and he formed bonds with them. Sadly, most of these people were killed in the eclipse by Griffith, which left Guts all alone once again.

However, as fate would have it, he met many fantastic people, who joined him on his journey, and they came to be known as the Black Swordsman Party. The group consists of highly talented people who care a lot about Guts. Currently, the group includes Schierke, Farnese, Ivalera, Isidro, Serpico, and Puck. When the time comes for the final fight, they could prove their value by helping Guts to take down Griffith and bringing all the chaos to an end.

1 Moonlight Boy

Casca and Moonlight boy

The Moonlight Boy is the child of Guts and Casca. While he looks like an ordinary kid, in reality, he is the complete opposite. So far, he has only appeared on full moon nights, which implies that there is more to him than meets the eye. The Moonlight Boy exercises control over some of the astral creatures. He used this ability to stop the crocodile-esque creatures from attacking Guts and co.

The Moonlight Boy also has the power to appear inside Guts' consciousness and help him in dire situations. He has already freed Guts twice from the influence of the Berserker Armor, and on another occasion, he helped Guts to find his way inside the Sea God.

Clearly, the Moonlight Boy has an important role to play in the story, and he just might have the power that Guts requires to bring down Griffith. It will certainly be interesting to see how further the Moonlight Child will develop before he eventually faces Griffith in a fight.
