Berserk is one of the best manga series of all time. The hard work put in by Kentarou Miura sets it apart from the other manga. Sadly, Miura passed away a few years ago, and at the time, the manga was still ongoing. With seemingly no option left, fans expected the manga to permanently go on hiatus.
Luckily for the fans, Mori Kouji announced that he would be taking over to ensure that his friend's masterpiece reaches its proper end. The Berserk manga is still in the Fantasia arc, and there is still a lot that can happen before the arc ends. This list will explore some of those possibilities.

5 Casca Falling In Despair Again
After the horrors suffered by Casca during the Eclipse, her mind was broken. She lost her ability to comprehend things and behaved like a toddler at times. What Griffith did to her was incredibly vile and wicked, and he did it out of spite. Griffith hated the fact that Guts' departure blew open a massive hole inside of him. So, he took revenge by abusing Casca.
For a long time, Guts looked for ways to help her get better, and it finally happened when they arrived at Skellig. With Casca's mind restored, Guts could breathe a sigh of relief. However, Griffith appeared once again and took her away. Casca was still unconscious when Griffith took him, but when she gets up, there is a chance that she might lose her mind again.
4 Guts' Mind Consumed By The Armor
The Berserker Armor is the strongest power-up that Guts has received in the series so far. The armor grants its user incredible strength and speed, allowing them to fight against apostles without much difficulty. The Berserker Armor can withstand tons of damage, and it can even fix itself if needed. It nullifies the sensation of pain, which enables its user to continue fighting without holding back.
However, all this power comes at a cost. If worn for an extended period of time, the armor will consume the wearer's consciousness and turn them feral. Guts has suffered from this problem several times, but he was rescued by Schierke and the Moonlight Boy. Currently, Guts is in utter despair, so his negative emotions are at an all-time high. If he decides to use the armor, it is possible that he might lose his senses completely.
3 Guts Activates The Beherit
The Beherit are mysterious objects that have the power to summon the God Hand. Due to the power that they possess, these objects are highly coveted. So far, fans have seen many instances where certain characters have not only sacrificed their humanity but also other people who were precious to them in exchange for more power. The Crimson Beherit is also known as the "Egg of the King," and it is very special.
The Crimson Beherit is believed to have enough power to grant its user the whole world, although it comes at a great cost. The Crimson Beherit wielded by Griffith allowed him to be reborn as Femto and eventually helped him to achieve what he wanted. Guts is also in possession of a Beherit, and it is said that it activates whenever the owner is at their lowest. After losing Casca again, Guts is at rock bottom, so it is possible that the Beherit might be activated. However, Guts has made it clear several times that he will not sacrifice his humanity in exchange for power. This increases the possibility of someone else activating it and using it. Either way, fans might witness another cataclysmic event soon.
2 The Moonlight Boy
The Moonlight Boy is among the biggest mysteries in the series. He made his debut in the Millennium Falcon arc. Since then, the enigmatic boy has appeared in front of Guts and his party several times. The odd thing about him is that he only appears on full moon nights, and he is gone by the morning. The boy has helped Guts and his party multiple times with his powers. He is also able to free Guts' mind from the influence of the Berserker Armor.
He has been confirmed to be the child of Guts and Casca, who can take over Griffith's reincarnated body on full moon nights. As Griffith successfully managed to take away Casca, it remains to be seen whether Moonlight Boy will help Casca to be reunited with Guts or not.
1 Schierke Awakens New Powers
Schierke is a crucial member of the Black Swordsman Party. She used to be a pupil of Flora, but after the apostles attacked the forest, she joined Guts on his journey. Due to her training, Schierke has various abilities that have greatly benefited the Black Swordsman Party on their travels so far. Schierke's biggest strength is Astral Projection, which allows her to leave her physical body and travel the astral world. With this particular ability, Schierke is able to prevent Guts' mind from being consumed by the Berserker Armor.
Her current skills are extremely impressive, but Schierke still has a lot to learn, and it is plausible to assume that she might awaken a new ability or master an old one before the Fantasia arc wraps up. This will not only benefit Schierke but the entire group.
