These weapons highlight wielders’ powers, helping them perform their bloody tasks, and for that reason, they tend to catch the eye of every fan. Here are the strongest weapons that drive the story forward in Berserk.
10 Grunbeld’s Greathammer
Grunbeld’s strength and speed are perfect for his Greathammer. Anybody would be terrified to stand opposite him even without this weapon in his hand, so the Greathammer is the icing on Grunbeld’s cake of terror. When Grunbeld uses his hammer, he’s either piercing multiple people at once or breaking someone’s spine.
The hammer is flat on one side and spiked on the other, with enough room to give Grunbeld a scary range of access. He uses the flat surface of the hammer to smash his unlucky opponents and the spike to pierce through materials of wood or steel.
9 Isidro’s Salamander Dagger
Isidro’s "left-hand weapon", given to him by Flora and Schierke, is short and wide and free of a standard crossguard. As the Salamander Dagger, it is unsurprisingly home to salamanders that crawl on its exterior.
It is full of fire spirits that give it heat and strength, allowing it to melt steel or consume opponents. Because the dagger is a flawed instrument, it works best when used along with another. For example, as a spark for bombs from Guts or as a second to Isidro’s pirate cutlass.
8 Locus Lance
Locus’ lance shows up in two different forms. As a normal lance, it is powerful enough to take down many opponents at once. Since Locus is an apostle, he can transform into his apostle form, and his body, horse, and lance are all affected.
In Locus’ apostle form, the lance grows significantly, enough to rival Guts’ Dragonslayer in length. Locus has used his lance to perform several feats, including impaling and lifting several Daka to prove a point to Ganishka about the supremacy of the true apostles.
7 Guts’ Cannon Arm
Fashioned by Rickert and gifted to Guts before starting his quest for revenge, the Cannon Arm serves as a replacement for the left forearm which the eclipse cost Guts. The cannon portion of the arm is concealed by the prosthetic hand. Guts activates the cannon by flicking his wrist.
Although to Guts the Cannon Arm can’t fully make up for his natural arm, the weapon is still an extremely powerful and useful tool, especially when used alongside the Dragon Slayer, like in the battle against Slan.
6 Irvine’s Bow
As an apostle, Irvine can transform into his apostle form which makes his bow look evolved. With his incredible archery skills, he can use his bow to tear opponents apart. He can shoot from great distances and with the utmost speed and precision.
As arguably the best bow spotlighted on Berserk, it is as beautiful as it is powerful, broad, and impressive, with a mysterious eye at the center. In his apostle form, Irvine uses the bow to fire deadly needles made from his fur. This bow is the sort of weapon that provides a surprising amount of power.
5 Grunbeld’s Greatshield Cannon
Grunbeld, who leads the Band of the Falcon giants and serves as an apostle, also wields a very large, formidable shield sculpted like the mouth of a dragon. This shield is no run-of-the-mill shield. Its shape gives a hint to its startling power: shooting cannon balls like it's the mouth of a dragon.
The shield is as big as a male human and powerful enough to protect him from incoming cannonball attacks. It boasts unparalleled strength and durability and also gives him a station for his blades, meaning he’s always ready for a fight.
4 Serpico’s Sylph Sword
Also called the Wind Sword, the Sylph Sword wielded by Serpico was given to him by Flora and Schierke. It is basically a feather that looks nothing like the deadly weapon it actually is. It fashions magical power from old wind spirits called the Sylph.
The length of the sword is deceiving, as it can transcend that distance by using currents of air. It also works with an incredible amount of precision. It is an impressive weapon, as seen by how well it turns the wind into razors.
3 Berserker Armor
As beneficial as it is dangerous, the Berserker Armor is one of the most significant tools in the world of Berserk. Those who wear it are called "berserkers," and it is easy to see why. The armor is made of extremely durable material and infuses extreme grit into its user.

1 Skull Knight’s Sword of Actuation
The Sword of Actuation is a particularly monumental form of Skull Knight’s sword. Boosted by “Beherits” from Skull Knight’s body, the Sword of Actuation is also called the Sword of Beherits.
Without the added power, Skull Knight’s sword is already quite powerful, but the beherits give it a remarkable power-up. He can reach deeper into the Astral World, and cut astral portals, giving him the power to transport himself with ease. The sword is so powerful it caused the “Great Roar of the Astral World.”
