Ben Affleck's Batman is a gift that keeps giving with all the various Batsuits that each movie has highlighted over the years, from Batman v Superman, Zack Snyder's Justice League, and now The Flash. Despite the latest Batsuit showcased in The Flash behind-the-scenes photos not making the final cut, fans were still given a sneak peek. The Flash reportedly had a different post-credit scene ending before the regime change at Warner Bros. Discovery that would have shown Affleck's Batman reaching out to Barry for help from a different timeline. However, due to James Gunn's DCU reboot, that ending was scrapped for a new post-credit scene between Barry Allen and Jason Momoa's Aquaman. Luckily, fans now have an idea of what the rumored Batman post-credit scene would have looked like, as Affleck's Batman is seen in a new and improved Batsuit, which may have even set up a Crisis on Infinite Earths film set in the DCEU, better establishing the fact that the Snyderverse was not erased and still exists as its own timeline.RELATED: Ben Affleck Confirms The Flash Will Be His Last Appearance As BatmanThe Flash Film News on Twitter shares these behind the scene images of Affleck's Batman, described as the “original post-credit scene for The Flash.” The suit is similar enough to the Batsuit he wore in The Flash but is slightly modified to now, for the first time, showcase the bright silver bat emblem on the chest. Despite Affleck having worn Batman's blue cape and cowl in The Flash, a first for an on-screen live-action Batman, the highlighted photos also show Affleck having reverted to the black cape, and the same could be assumed for the cowl.

While the Batsuit in The Flash has been criticized among fans, there is something about the bright silver bat emblem and black cape that compliments the armor in ways that it may not have before, especially since the bat emblem stands out rather than somewhat blending in as it did previously. Although it could be that Affleck is selling it without the cowl, it would still be hard to deny the sheer amount of improvement to the Batsuit design with these small but significant touches. Speaking of, Affleck would have had another new and improved Batsuit in the canceled Affleck Batman film, which would have followed the events of Zack Snyder's Justice League.

The Flash was released on digital this week with special features and deleted scenes, and unfortunately, it does not appear that this Batman scene was one of them, but that does not mean that WBD can’t release it at a later date, especially with how in-demand the scene in question is within a portion of the fanbase. Muschietti said a whopping four-hour cut of The Flash exists, so a director’s cut could add back the elements that some fans wanted, such as Henry Cavill's Superman in The Flash ending and the post-credit scene.

The Flash is now available on digital platforms.
